I went on this tour with two co-workers two weeks ago and it was excellent. Martin, our guide, not only was helpful and full of great information, but also a lot of fun. This was one of my favorite days in France. I can't recommend this enough and definitely ask for Martin!

Another great A La Francais your!!
There were six of us and a tour guide for the day. We started the morning in Epernay at the Boizel Champagne house where their team talked to us about the champagne-making process and we walked through their caves. Afterwards, we were treated to a tasting of two of their champagnes.
From there we went to “champagne school“ (my term, not theirs) where we were learned about the region and played games to explore our understanding of the champagne making process. It was great fun and we laughed and learned together. By noon we had had five glasses of champagne. Fortunately, they’re only about 3 ounce glasses.
We had lunch at the ‘school.’ They served us a beautiful lunch of quiche, a meat cooked in pastry and a lentil salad, with bread. AND a glass of red wine, a glass of champagne, and a glass of ratafia. Liked the Loire Valley chateau tour, we hung out for a long lunch, chatting and getting to know the others in the tour. We laughed and talked. It was great fun.
The afternoon was spent going to the church and burial site of Dom Perignon, going to see actual plots of vineyards, and visiting a family champagne house, where we tasted more champagne. The land where champagne is grown was beautiful, the vistas breathtaking.
Eleven glasses of wine later and it was a lovely day. I met such nice people. The tour company prove themselves, once again, to be excellent at what they do.

This was one of our favorite tours while in Paris. We took a bullet train from Paris to Reims where we were met immediately by our tour guide (a woman, she was very good but I do not remember her name). It was a bit scary finding the bullet train as we had to switch from the city transit to the train station.
Via our comfortable van (seats 8), we briefly drove through Reims and then went to Moet. My daughter and I loved Moet. We then went to a lovely home where we had lunch. This was followed by a tour of a church and then visit to a smaller champagne winery.

Enjoyable, informative and educational. Picked up and returned to just outside of Reims station our guide Suzanne was a perfect hostess for the day which passed very quickly.

Perrine was awesome! I highly recommend this tour. It is one I would do all over again. The entire trip was fantastic! It was a day well spent and the lunch was excellent. The champagne tours and tastings opened my eyes to a world I didn't understand before and now appreciate what goes into each bottle. Thank you Perrine!

We had a wonderful experience tasting champagne. We would have never had seen such a variety of different champagne houses without the experience of the company. Xavier our driver was extremely knowledgeable especially as he had only been doing it for 3 weeks. He was very friendly and really knew how to get all the couples interacting.
The lunch was wonderful and really made the day. Although an expensive trip it was great value for money.

Our guide, Theo, was very nice and knew what he was talking about. We enjoyed the trip very much and learned a lot. We really recommend this trip to everyone who visits Champagne.

This really was an excellent trip. Moet & Chandon as the first stop gave a great insight into the champagne making process, plus their incredible atmospheric cellars, and the first champagne of the day. Then the lunch stop and a workshop to identify the scents and flavours of champagne at Clos de Corbier, super homemade lunch! Finally a trip to a smaller family producer, with another tasting session to see how aging affects flavour. All interleaved with seeing the sights of Avenue de Champagne, the church where Dom Perignon is buried and a beautiful viewpoint to take in the countryside. Our guide Perine was fantastic, multilingual, highly knowledgable. Totally recommend this full day excursion with A la Francais.

I recently did a tour of Moët & Chandon and 2 family/boutique houses with my partner and we were blown away with the standards our guide, Lisa, provided. We had a great first impression when we met Lisa outside the train station in Reims. She was chatty, approachable and friendly. We were instantly comfortable. She ensured a smooth journey was had for all members of our group, and effortlessly made witty conversation to get the full group engaged together. She had a wealth of knowledge about the local area, the wider region and all things champagne-related! The tour itself was fascinating and a really wonderful experience. Lunch was delicious and we were treated brilliantly everywhere we went. We couldn’t recommend Lisa enough and really encourage everyone to do this tour. You won’t regret it!

Is it possible to do the tour on a Saturday from Paris by train? I worry that there won’t be a train early enough to get to you by 9am.
