Rememberable experience! A must-do when visiting champagne
Me and my friends had a fantastic time with Stephane! It was such a unique experience to be able to drive into the countryside and explore a lesser known side of the champagne region. We learned so much about the region itself and the champagne making & grading process. The cherry on top was being able to taste some champagne from one of the highly regarded small producers! The entire experience was great and something you will remember for years to come!

Visite d une cave avec la presentation de A à Z sur l' élaborations du champagne. Stephane à un tres bon anglais donc tres pratique pour les etrangers! Il a beaucoup de connaissances sur l histoire de la region et de la ville de Reims.

Thank you for your review and your recommendation ! We had such a great time this afternoon in the Champagne vienyards and the cellars with my friend. The tasting of handcraft Champagne was so delicious. Unique experience to live sharing the tasting with the small winemaker with so tasty Champagnes. Cheers !

Fantastic experience, definitely a recommendation! Stefane knows a lot about the area and about champagne, and is an excellent host. Tour is catered to your needs. Loved the visit to the local champagne house, and we tasted no less than 6 champagnes :)

I really can't recommend this tour highly enough. Stephane's encyclopedic understanding of the history and viticulture of champagne can seem intimidating at first, but he's able to boil that knowledge down into fun stories that an absolute beginner can understand. It's also a real treat hearing his witty asides about the political dynamics of the different champagne houses--it feels like you're being let in on gossip that only locals know about. After a lovely day in the French countryside--and a few glasses of wine--you'll leave feeling like you could talk about champagne with anyone.

I happy to read I made the Champagne business understandable for everybody :) Do not hesitate to come back and taste the new Champagnes some creative winemakers are launching. I have a new one from this month a Blanc de noirs done with grappes only from one Grand Cru village. I'm looking forward to making you taste this new one during your last trip. This was a wonderful tour! Stephane is a very knowledgeable local of Reims. He taught us about the landscape and drove us through the beautiful vineyards and explained us the history. He took us to the lighthouse for a beautiful view of the Grand Cru village. Then we went to a local winemaker’s cellar and learned the process in depth of how the magical drink is made. Followed by a tasting of 6 different champagnes. Blanc de blanc, brut, blanc de noirs, rosé, and two vintages 2009, 2013). And of course had to buy a few! Highly recommended.

Thank you for your great review. The Champagne is so beautiful to see and the drink to taste :). The half day is the quickest way to have an overview of the Champagne area, Champagne making and Champagne taste. Come back when you want. There are still few million bottles left. Cheers !

Amazing!
What an amazing experience, Stephane did an outstanding job! We drove through the beautiful countryside while Stephane educated us on the dynamics of champagne and how it’s produced. The winery he took us to was wonderful as well. We would definitely do this experience again!

Highlight of a month in Europe
Stephane has a vast knowledge of the Champagne making process as well as the history of Reims and the surrounding areas. His local connections provided a wonderful half day tour and we left with a renewed appreciation for Champagne (and a few delicious bottles). This was the highlight of a month in Europe and I would find a way to book this tour :)

Great experience!!! One you won’t want to miss when you are in the champagne region of France! Despite the wet weather he showed us the beautiful villages and vineyards in the Champagne region near Reims. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information and insight to the champagne industry. Our visit to a local vineyard was really great and gave us a real appreciation of the process involved in making champagne. Both Stephane and the vigneron displayed their knowledge and passion for the champagne industry. A great experience we would recommend. We had an amazing time with Stephane! This experience really felt unique and personal. We were able to ask lots of questions and have some amazing champagne. Would do this again in a heart beat.
