This experience should be improved by having the guide that you paid for show up! No one from Aeon Tours contacted us that our guide was unavailable. We wasted an entire morning in Paris while trying to figure out whether we were going to have the tour or not! We tried to contact AEON TOURS using the number on our confirmation. We were not surprised to receive a recording telling us that the office was closed!! The only thing good about our experience was that our money was refunded to our credit card account. Two very disappointed people!!

Jusqu'en octobre, tous les soirs, la cathédrale de Chartres s'illumine. Les tableaux sont absolument magnifiques. A voir absolument

This is the absolute worst tour I have ever taken. Over the years, I have taken upwards of 100 tours so I do have the experience to compare this tour.
The sole reason this tour was so bad was our tour guide, Naomi.
From the moment Naomi me us in our hotel lobby, I could tell she did not want to be there. It was clearly evident as the day went on. There are a plethora of events that support my feelings about this review but there is no need to go into every detail, just know, this was a horrible trip, one I paid $480 US Dollars plus train tickets.
I do want to point out that the tour information says 28 Euro a person for train tickets, we paid 50 Euros per person. Yes, instead of 56 Euro, we paid 100 Euro, this is a huge difference.
As the day went on, it just got more absurd.
Avoid this tour!
