They ruined my trip to Europe. I was dreaming about the trip to the beaches of Normandy and D-day. I bought the pass two months before the trip, but a week before departure they told me that the trip would not take place that day and they told me to choose another one!!!! I had already scheduled and bought other tours, I even gave two date options, but they said I couldn't. The question is, why didn't they tell me before to schedule it? Why did it take almost two months to say that I couldn't on that date? I had to ask for the money back and I couldn't take the trip I dreamed of. Never again. The worst.

Hello, we are sorry that you were unable to make your excursion to Normandy. But it is true that we cannot organize the excursion if we do not have enough participants. We stipulate this in our general conditions of sale but we always try to find a solution and another date...but none could suit you.
Again, our apologies for this cancellation.

Je suis cliente chez France Tourisme depuis 2018 (recommandation et cadeaux de prestations diverses et variées) très déçue par cette visite que de la voiture principalement (6h au moins Aller-retour). Ma pire déception a été la prestation déjeuner que j'ai payé pour 3 personnes environ 60 euros. FT a alloué seulement une heure totalement insuffisante déjeuner chez son prestataire restaurant disposant d'un service compliqué 1 serveur uniquement pour une salle de plus de 16 tables de 4. Nous avons mangé l'entrée en une heure. Lorsque, de bonne foi, j'ai effectué une réclamation auprès de FT malgré ma fidélité, FT a préféré donner Raison à Son prestataire restaurant alors que le chauffeur avait été informé de ce service calamiteux. Des clients étaient aussi témoins. C'est déplorable.

They canceled on us! No explanation as to why it was canceled.
We arrived at 6:40am on New Year’s Day, and waited for over 30 min. Finally heard from them after multiple calls & emails to the office. That’s when they told us they called the previous day at 5 pm. No voicemail left though. We are in Europe. We don’t keep our phones on while here. A voicemail would have ensured we learned of the cancellation.
Very disappointed.

I booked this trip for myself and my young adult son who is fascinated by the facts of WW2. We shared a comfortable 8-seater mini coach with two young American couples. Our guide, Reza, was excellent - extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful
We had plenty of time at the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery & Museum, before going on to the lovely seaside village of Arromanches-les-Bains for a good lunch and walk around.
After that we visited the pretty village of Bayeux for some free time. We chose to visit the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the beautiful Cathedral and wander around the shops before we returned to Paris in the evening.
As well as being great day tour, it was great value and the lowest priced tour of this kind
We had plenty of time at the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery & Museum, before going on to the lovely seaside village of Arromanches-les-Bains for a good lunch and walk around.

In the past our travel group of 8 has enjoyed many tours booked through Viator. We have always been well taken care of and very pleased with our tour guides and the quality of the tours. Unfortunately our tour of the Normandy Beaches and surrounding area was extremely disappointing. We arrived at the designated departure point on time, but our tour guide arrived an hour late. During our 3+ hour drive to Pointe du Hoc, the guide did not speak to us. Instead, he turned on the radio and the few words he spoke were barely audible. At one point he told us he was sick and stopped the van on the side of the road so he could gather some berries to eat. It was approximately 3pm when we arrived at Arromanches. We had not eaten all day so he suggested a restaurant where he gets to eat free if he brings a tour group. Then he also suggested we tour the D-Day Museum at Arromanches instead of continuing to Bayeux. Our group specifically chose this tour because in the product description it said we would visit Bayeux and also have an opportunity to see the tapestry. Members of our group had previously been to Arromanches and had already toured the museum there. We told the tour guide we wanted to continue on to Bayeax as we would like to see the tapestry. He then told us the Bayeaux Tapestry was on loan to another city and had been replaced by the Game of Thrones tapestry. We told him we still wanted to see Bayeux and would visit the Cathedral there. He reluctantly drove us to Bayeux, dropped us in front of the Cathedral and said he would pick us up in an hour. On the ride back to Paris he informed the front seat passengers (no one else could hear a word he said) that there would be a "yellow jacket" protest the following day in Paris. He also told us he had been at the last protest and had been shot in the chest by the police with rubber bullets. He then asked the person sitting next to him to him what she did for a living. When she told him she was a lawyer he put in earbuds and listened to his I-Pod the remainder of the trip. The guide was rude and did not add any useful information to our tour. The worst part was checking the Bayeux Museum website upon our return to Paris and finding out the Bayeux Tapestry was actually at the museum. It may travel to another city sometime in 2022 or 2023 per the museum website. So we missed what would have been a highlight of our trip. This tour could have been so much better with just a little input from the guide. We definitely did not get what was promised. Our group was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this tour based on our experience with this tour guide.

Had to basically forfeit the excursion. We stayed out by Disneyland Paris and the day before our scheduled excursion, we found out that the RER(train) operators were going to strike for that day. We didn't have another way into/out of the city to meet the tour, unless we wanted to spend a small fortune, which would have been more than the cost of the tour to begin with. As for the "1" score, I gave it that because it wouldn't let me leave it blank. Pay no attention to the 1 star.
