Intressant och skrämmande..lätt att följa katalogerna genom hörlurarna. Rekommenderar att lägga den lilla extra pengen för att få gå före i kön om man är där under turistsäsong

The catacombs were on the top of my list for things I wanted to do in Paris, but I was finding it impossible to book tickets in advance anywhere on the official catacombs site. We decided to pay the little bit extra for this guided tour as I wanted to guarantee that I would get to see them. I am delighted I did. The meeting point was at a little cafe across the road from the catacombs entrance and we arrived early to get a bite to eat before we went down. We noticed people queuing outside the catacombs for a very long time, as only 200 people are allowed down at once. This isn't ideal for utilising your time on a short city break. Our tour guide arrived on time and we skipped the queue and went straight down. Our tour guide, Kaitlin, was funny, informative and just a really nice person. Everyone not on our tour were walking around with their phones to their ear trying to learn the information, whereas we got to hear it through funny stories told by Kaitlin. We also got access to areas normally closed to the public. Would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide, David, was patient and knowledgeable about the catacombs. He was super friendly and funny as well. I highly recommend this place and the tour guide as well. A must do in Paris!

This company is simply MyGenieInParis that has rebranded itself in order to hide all the awful reviews they have under that name.

Stay away. We attempted a skip the line tour with them, they didn't show up and then said we were the no shows! Fortunately I booked with a credit card and was able to dispute it to get my money back.

Question
Is it possible to go actually go there and book because Tripadvisor doesn’t refund the money when tours are cancelled.

Value of Guided Tour

Excellent tour! Taking a guided tour of the catacombs is the best way to see the catacombs. If you go independently, and you don’t speak/read French, you’ll not be able to understand what you’re seeing. Having a guided tour in your language is very important to understanding the catacombs and enjoying your visit! Our guide, David, was wonderful—I highly recommend!

Pretty cool

This was a pretty cool tour but also creepy. Our tour guide was really informative and his English was easy to understand. We were like 2 min late and I really appreciated that they waited for us because usually tours leave right on time. If you get these tickets just go to the front. I read a sign that made me confused so I made my partner and I wait in line when we really just needed to go to the front.

I’ve always been intrigued by the catacombs. The entire tour was exactly what I hoped for. The lines on the previous day were long so I bought the skip the line tickets. Very helpful. There was a circular staircase of 130 steps to get down into the catacombs but it’s worth the climb. The bones are artfully arranged by workmen centuries ago. Thoughtfully placed skulls and femurs made small walls that enclosed smaller bones. There was an eerie quiet while you are walking through the tunnels.
Don’t forget that there are also 130 steps up to get back to street level.
I recommend this attraction if you are hearty enough to go down and back up.

If You Value Your Time.....

If you value your time, skip the line is a definite plus. We visited in Feb, and at 10am the line was quite long. They only allow 200 people inside at any given time, so once the first 200 have been achieved, the line moves slowly. Besides that, having a guide to ask questions and give a different perspective is quite enjoyable. It sounds like they are all fairly funny with their stories. You will also get to visit areas not open to the general visitors. Definitely worth a little extra ! The catacombs were one of the top highlights of our time in Paris.

Amazing and worth the money
This tour was amazing. A lot more information that thier normal ear phones give. The guide was energetic and fun, full of all kinds of interesting information. Access to normally off limits areas made it worth the price.
