My girlfriend and I booked a full-day North Burgundy and Chablis Wine Tasting Tour based upon recommendations from close friends. Spoiler Alert: We had an AMAZING experience! Luiz's knowledge and passion for not only the wine, but the region itself was incredible and infectious. We especially enjoyed the relationships he has fostered with winemakers, and the tour felt like he was introducing us to his old friends. Incredible experience, and we cannot wait to return for one of his other tours. Thank you Luiz!

From beginning to end, Luiz made us all feel comfortable and gave us a lifetime experience I will never forget! My sister and I followed the easy instructions provided to meet at the van, in which we met our friendly guide and our new friends from Sri Lanka. From there Luiz started the tour driving the van from Paris to Chablis while we enjoyed beautiful sunny views. The tour included 3 stops, each place we were taken was exquisite, special, with delectable wine selections that were life changing. We had A LOT of delicious and unique wine tastings, gorgeous views, and tons of laughter. Luiz's knowledge and exquisite choice of wineries helped me learn more about the region and the process of wine making, making me a better wine connoisseur. Thank you Luiz for everything!!

My mom and I booked this tour for our time in Paris and I am so thankful we did. Luiz was our sommelier and guide for the day and he was so great! He was professional, on time, and very informative. He got us local cheese bread to eat as we walked around Chablis, providing us with the local history. We visited one winery in Chablis, before starting our tour of Burgundy. We had a wonderful lunch that was relaxing, yet educational. During one of our visits in a wine cave, we asked about his knowledge a little bit more and found out that he had just competed in a world sommelier competition and did very well, though he was too modest to come out and say that. Such a great day, tour, and guide. Thank you, again, Luiz for everything!!

Luiz, our guide and Sommelier, brought us to three different small wineries in North Burgundy. We also got to tour wine cellars that were over 1,000 years old, which was a really amazing and unique experience. No one we encountered was snobby about wine, though it was clear everyone was really passionate about what they did. We also had a delicious wine and cheese lunch at our second stop of the day. I am so glad we did this tour, as we learned a lot and also saw more of France than just Paris. The group was kept really small, which meant that we had lots of time to ask questions, if we had any, and got lots of personal attention.

What a great day we had. My friend and I and six of them lucky people spent the day with Louis touring some wineries. Louis knows all about wines and shared his knowledge with us. We visited some very small wineries in some little tiny villages.We met the winemakers and took some great tours of their cellars. We had great weather to boot so it was a fabulous day. You get started really early but it’s all worth it.

Luiz was a terrific guide for our tour to Chablis. He arrived at the pickup location on time, gave the details of our days adventure and the amount of driving time involved. We were lucky as harvest was underway so we observed workers arriving at the fields ready to pick the grapes that will create wonderful wines. Luiz gave a description of the soil in the Chablis region and which areas created Premire Cru vs Grande Cru wines. We walked the streets of Chablis and were treated to a Gorgues pastry. Yum!! We had our first tasting and on to another vineyard to see Pinot Noir grapes. While there Luiz treated us to a glass of Aligoté - a grape special to the area. Lunch was in a small cafe prepared by the owner and delicious. Last stop was to a winery where we met the wine maker as well as the owner. Luiz has many offerings which I would take advantage of in the future.

Louis was awesome. It was well worth the trip. Beautiful countryside. Good wine and information. We went after with a different tour company to Champagne and wished we were with Louis instead!!!

We spent a full day visiting wineries with Luiz. What a great day out of the city. We loved the small group setting. There was so much attention to detail in creating a memorable experience. The individual wineries each had a unique personality. In addition to tasting a variety of wines, we visited vineyards and learned about grapes and growing conditions. The tiny French villages were charming and picturesque. Lunch was provided in a local restaurant, and the food was paired with the wines provided. The day was a highlight of our trip.Highly recommended.

I am so glad that i've booked this tour! Since the moment we depart from paris, in a confortable van, Luiz, our guide meke us feel very welcome. We visited two wineries, and stoped in an amazing vineyards to contemplate the view, had some wine and take beautiful photos.

Since our tour was canceled by the operator less than 48 hours before it\s start, I would recommend staying away from this company. No explanations were given to us, no were there any apologies.

I did not have any trouble with communications or scheduling. This is a small business, and they do tell you that the event may be cancelled if there's not enough demand for a particular day, If there's a way to contact the owner, Luiz, I recommend asking him that question.

It's per person. Not inexpensive, but we thought it was worth the price. It's a full day, starting at 8a.m. and home by 6:30.
Is there anyway I can be added to this trip on 10/15/18? I don’t have the minimum of two people required to make the reservation.
I am looking for a full day tour for 2 on Monday 7/30/18. I have already booked the Paris cooking class for Tuesday 7/31/18 . Can you suggest a tour for 2 adults?
