Our tour guide, Audrey, was excellent. She is a local artist living in Monmarte and spoke from experience. The tour was well organized climbing the hill and stopping ever so often to hear about history or a famous artist. Audrey’s stories were accompanied with photos of the art work and interesting facts about the area. She even took the time to help us navigate to the metro, take a family photo and provide restaurant recommendations. In addition, this tour was booked very last minute by the My Private Tour company, in particular Alexandre who arranged the time and date via email and was very responsive.

Best tour we've had in Paris. We met Alexandre in front of the Moulin Rouge and after a few minutes, we knew we were in good hands. His anecdotes and stories were so insightful, even our teenagers enjoyed the tour. We stopped at nice a bakery to try delicious French pastries !!

We booked several days of private tours all over Paris for our family of four including 2 kids ages 12 & 14. We all enjoyed every tour! Every guide was knowledgeable, kind, patient and extremely informative! My Private Paris also scheduled us with an amazing cooking lesson with Le Foodist and that was definitely one of our favorite tours! We are so happy that we contacted them for our tours and would not hesitate to recommend them. Alexandre set up our tours and was always helpful and responsive! Thank you My Private Paris!

I reviewed our D'Orsay tour with MPP.
This was just as great. We were lucky enough to get the same fantastic guide--Laure.
She seems super-excited to share with you her vast knowledge of Montmartre.
It's a good hike but well worth it for any admirers of Picasso,Van Gogh and all the other artists who lived and worked there. She'll also limn the lives of other people you may not have heard about (of course she has read about them all!).
Excellent walking tour.

I can't recommend My Private Paris enough. What a fantastic experience!
I recently went on a tour of Montmartre with Marie (one of the founders) and Raphaelle, who are brilliant guides - friendly, kind, funny and an endless source of knowledge! I learnt so much about Montmartre, its history, culture and famous figures, with amazing local info and tips too (Raphaelle lives there). Marie and Raphaelle were incredibly engaging and they packed so much in (including some delicious sweet treats from bakeries en route!), going above and beyond while still ensuring it was comfortable, fun and personal. I feel like a local now!
It was such a privilege to have a tour from people who clearly just love what they do and thrive off doing it - truly an unforgettable experience. I will 100% book more tours with them when I next return to Paris - this is by far the best way to get to know the city.

Four of us toured the neighborhood with the expert guidance of Flora. She was very informative and skillfully guided us through the area Communication was great and she was skilled at finding things we liked and adapting them on the tour. Dont miss the tour of this neighborhood. it offers great food wonderful history and fantastic views. Flora was able to avoid the touristy areas when possible. Thank you for a great tour.

My Private Paris was recommended to us by our American friends who have lived in Paris for 5 years. We took a private tour (2 adults, 2 teens) of Montmatre with Florent. It was absolutely perfect. He had so much knowledge of the area; we saw the artists' haunts, hidden gardens, and back roads and alleys. We felt like we had the entire hill of Montmatre to ourselves, until we reached the peak and realized it was actually covered with other tourists. We definitely saw parts of the area we never would have found on our own, and were happy to be off the beaten path. After the tour, he recommended a lunch spot that was absolutely delicious, and again, devoid of other tourists. My jet-lagged teen girls had an equally good time on the tour. If I have the privilege of going back to Paris again, I will definitely use My Private Paris and will request Florent.

Marc did a great job!! He really showed us the history of the area . We saw all the back streets , ate a croissant & baguette. He explained to us where all the painters lived . I t was great !! I would highly recommend this tour. Really something you cannot get the feel for this area walking around with a guidebook in your hand . Thanx again !!
