Lost in Frenchlation is my favorite pastime in Paris. As a film student, it is not only a fabulous way to broaden my horizon of French films, but it also allows me to connect with other expats in Paris and improve my French language skills. I have met so many wonderful friends through this program, and it is a pleasure to have something to look forward to each week. Screenings are shown in multiple cinemas across Paris with English subtitles, so it is easily accessible for everyone. Plus, most screenings are followed by Q&As with the cast/crew… something exciting for more than just film students ;)

Lost in Frenchlation is literally the best thing I've found in Paris. I go to the screenings to watch the movies, but I leave with new friends every time. The vibes are always just good. I could not reccomend this more for anyone who is coming to Paris and looking for a sense of community.

This is such a great place to make friends before the screening and to also start watching new French movies with English subtitles! I highly recommend it! Especially for solo travelers!

As a film student, I highly recommend lost in frenchlation to those who wish to get themselves immersed into the French cinema. It's such a great place to stay tuned to the new films and enjoy moive-going experience!

I'm an American student and the screenings of Lost in Frenchlation were a great way for me to find an English-speaking community. I also learn more French by watching films. I really like the Q&A after the films, the conversation is always interesting.

The events are such a fun way to connect to other international students, expats, and locals in Paris. I love talking with other people who are excited about films and getting to know each other. I also love having the opportunity to hear from the directors after the screenings!

So glad that I was able to find somewhere in a Paris to watch a film with my girlfriend that doesn’t speak French yet. Very good drinks, very good movies nonetheless, and we even got to meet with the director after “Toi Non plus tu n’as Rien Vu” and ask her some questions. Manon does a great job organizing and we will definitely be back.
