Perfect guide and way to see the museum

This was the most perfect way to see this museum. Naomi our guide was fabulous in helping us get in and a wheelchair for my mother and taking routes through the museum to accomadate the chair and her needs. She was great in showing pieces of the collection that demonstrated techniques by various arists and what made their art special. Naomi also shared information on the artist we were looking at and about relationships that had importance to their art or the growth of painting during their time. Naomi was able to answer our questions and encouraged us to see things on our own as we were learning about the art and artists.

Engaging and informative!

Naomi was a wonderful tour guide. She was patient with our group and led us through the museum, highlighting works from key Impressionist artists. It was great to learn the backstories of the artists and the political climate at the time. She also provided wonderful recommendations for the rest of our time in the city!

The Impressionists at Orsay

Participating in 'The Impressionists at Orsay' with Naomi was nothing short of a wonderful experience. Her encyclopedic knowledge of both the museum's history and art was unsurprising considering her own background as a practicing artist. At once witty and unpretentious, her demeanour put me at ease and in turn I came away with an even deeper appreciation of this integral institution and its works. Highly recommended for visitors and residents of Paris alike.

Tour - The Impressionists at Orsay

I took the tour with Naomi. She was excellent. Naomi brought the artists and the art to life! She gave me background on the pieces and the painters, putting it in perspective within the period. Best museum visit ever! I cannot recommend it highly enough. She turned a visit to a museum into an amazing experience.

Trip to Musee d'Osay

I took a guided tour with Naoimi and it was wonderful. The busses were on strike so we walked to the museum and Naoimi gave me a wonderful overview of Paris, including which restaurants to eat at. Once inside the museum Naomi and I looked at art for over two hours while she discussed art history, culture, and interpretations of the pieces we viewed. Taking the tour with Naomi is like have a conversation with someone who has a PhD in art history except she is more accessible and funny. She is also an artist on her own right and I enjoyed her insights on the lives of creatives. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
