We, 4 of us, were picked up at our hotel in Paris, driven to Mont St Michel, then to Honfleur, and then back to our hotel. It was a wonderful experience.
Anas picked us up at 5:30 AM. The sedan was roomy and comfortable. I sat in the middle in the back (3 in back, one up front with Anas). The center section wasn't a hump like it is in many cars, so it was fine. We slept part the 4 hour drive to Mont St Michel. Anas was a careful and skilled driver.
Once there he got us situated and we toured the Abbey without him. The audio guide was perfect and allowed us each go at our own pace, lingering in some areas and moving along in others. There was no one rushing us or directing us so it was very comfortable.
When we exited, Anas was right there waiting and took us back to the car. From there we went to Honfleur. It's a lovely port city but was busy with lots of tourists. Anas got us situated at a restaurant of our choice and we were free to meander about at will. We stayed there about 2 hours before driving back to our hotel.
The Abbey is an incredible structure with amazing views and a fascinating history. It was definitely a worthwhile and unforgettable experience.
Doing this tour with a private driver made it all the more comfortable and convenient. Anas, thank you for driving and taking care of us.
