Not sure, but I imagine some of the tour guides run those tours for ships. Bayeaux shuttle would be a good place to start, as they are very responsive.

The sites were free such as Omaha beach, Utah beach, towns & American cemetery. We did not go to the D-day museum. Lunch was not included but they stopped in a town where you could eat at restaurant (2 choices) or buy sandwiches at a bakery (boulangerie).

We stayed in Bayeux also And the tour starts from there. I would contact them and ask them if possible for you to join them close to where you dock ?

I would definitely take the full day tour "Full-Day Group Tour of American D-Day Beaches from Bayeux" groups are up to 22 people nice vans, great guides and they have a restored country store where they serve a simple lunch. I would contact tour operator directly (Bayeux Shuttle) to plan day 2, perhaps a half day tour to concentrate on an area you want plus leave some time to explore Bayeux.

I chose this tour specifically for my 82 yr old father. He can walk, but slowly. The driver was so accommodating. There is substantial walking, but the time travelling between sites is restful. The longest stretch was at the American Cemetery, the walk from the parking lot to it. My dad thoroughly enjoyed it, but was tired at the end of the day.

Hi. We picked up the tour st Bayeux and we where in a comfortable 15 seater.

14 in ours as well. It didn’t feel uncomfortable and by mid day we were all friends!
