Fantastic tour. Guide Pascal was excellent great personality and so much knowledge. We learned so much and the sites were great to see especially while hearing about the history of events that took place.

We took the tour on 9/04/2024. Pascal brought the stories to life. He was so knowledgeable and interjected many stories throughout the day which personalized the tour even more. Finished the day at the American cemetery. Our best tour in France by far.

We had a wonderful experience on this full day tour. There was so much insight gained and everything was presented so thoughtfully. The group was able to see so many of the sights without feeling rushed. The van used was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of bathroom stops along the route. We paused for a quick lunch at a local bakery/deli that was delicious. Our tour was with Pascal, who was incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. He was flexible with the group to amend the tour so that we were able to see the lowering of the flag and taps being played at the end of the day at the American Cemetery. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.

This was a fantastic tour, with Pascal as our guide. It was a great balance between the details of the events of D day and human interest stories that brought those events to life.
Pascal was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and - with the agreement of the group - managed to rejig the itinerary so that we could see the lowering of the flags ceremony at the American cemetery, towards the end of the day.
Our older teenage daughter has a keen interest in history of the two world wars but still came away from this tour having learned a lot more! The rest of us in the family felt it was a really interesting day, where Pascal had done a great job in keeping everyone engaged.
Thoroughly recommended!

Jordan was amazing. His knowledge and passion of the Normandy area was impressive. I can honestly say it was the best tour I’ve ever been on. There wasn’t a question he could not answer and his stories were all so interesting. Great job Jordan.

Great tour to Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, Point de Hoc, Sainte Mère Église, Utah Beach and Angoville-au-Plain - so very extensive but rewarding program for a full-day excursion

This was a fantastic tour. Robin is an amazing teacher and storyteller. The tour was well paced and we appreciated his exceptional knowledge of the area and all the history involved. Best tour we have taken in years!

We had a very knowledgable tour guide (Robin). We hit all the places I researched & wanted to see. Our group was only 6 people total which made the tour easy to move around. Highly recommended!

I have a great uncle buried and the Normandy Cemetery. Will we be able to find the location of and visit his grave site?

The sites were free such as Omaha beach, Utah beach, towns & American cemetery.
We did not go to the D-day museum.
Lunch was not included but they stopped in a town where you could eat at restaurant (2 choices) or buy sandwiches at a bakery (boulangerie).

I would definitely take the full day tour "Full-Day Group Tour of American D-Day Beaches from Bayeux" groups are up to 22 people nice vans, great guides and they have a restored country store where they serve a simple lunch. I would contact tour operator directly (Bayeux Shuttle) to plan day 2, perhaps a half day tour to concentrate on an area you want plus leave some time to explore Bayeux.

Hi...this tour looks amazing and I'm hoping to bring my father, but I'm worried about his mobility. What is the expected physical level of participants of the tour? If he wanted to stay in the caravan at any point to rest, would that be ok?

I chose this tour specifically for my 82 yr old father. He can walk, but slowly. The driver was so accommodating. There is substantial walking, but the time travelling between sites is restful. The longest stretch was at the American Cemetery, the walk from the parking lot to it. My dad thoroughly enjoyed it, but was tired at the end of the day.
