Gids fred (Frédéric)maakte er voor ons gezelschap een bijzondere dag van, zijn kennis en enthousiasme werkte zeer aanstekelijk op de groep, ondanks de soms wat uitdagende weeromstandigheden.

Our guide, Guillaume, was amazing. The trip takes you physically and historically through the two beaches of the D-Day landings and gives you plenty of time to see the details you're interested in. Guillaume's 20 years of guiding was obvious.

One of the best tours I have ever been on. Our tour guide was Remy Bountry and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate for the entire day. He was also extremely courteous and helpful throughout the entire tour. I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was one of the highlights of our visit to France.

We booked with Overlord Tours because they were mentioned many times on a couple of different sites I frequented looking for information on Normandy. First let me say that booking our private tour (for 4 adults), was easy and the price was good for the all-day tour. Then, when I had a question, they responded to my email immediately - which was around 10pm their time in France. I was so pleased and surprised by the responsiveness. We were lucky enough to have Remy as our quide for the day. He met us right on time, offered us water and we took off in his comfortable van for our day trip. I wondered how we would need all day to do this tour, but honestly there is more to see in the area if we had more time! Let me say that Remy is incredible as a guide. He is so passionate and it shows! He knows so much about the D-Day events and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. Remy is sweet and kind too - which made our all day adventure a lot more fun! He took us to a nice restaurant for lunch where he made sure we all had what we needed. He ended the tour with an unexpected stop at a small church where he had a great story to tell! I won't ruin it for those who are lucky enough to go there. We travel a lot and have taken many different tours and this one will be at the top of our list. You won't be disappointed.

We spent three days with Thierry visiting the Normandy beaches, following the footsteps of Easy Company and visiting Monte St Michel Abbey. I don't think it would have been possible to enjoy it any more. Thierry was a wealth of information and really went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed it and got to see everything we wanted to. Great tour and a great guide.

Overall - OUTSTANDING from the Administrative Staff, the Guide, and the Tour.
Rebecca and Hope (Planning Administrators) were prompt in their responses, helpful, and cheerful.
My husband and I are former paratroopers in the 82d ABN DIV and the 101st ABN DIV. The itinerary was on target, especially getting to spend lunch hour in Ste. Mere Eglise.
Our tour guide, Remy, was extremely competent - he is well-studied and delivered information with clarity. This is a notable attribute particularly in conveying the complexity and chaos of each mission and yet, ensuring that the strategic objectives were important to remember.
Eric, the driver, was so pleasant. He always had a smile on his face and pleasant.
This company is top notch; it exceeded our expectations. And, if you are budget conscious, this tour is worth every amount...and more!!! This is the best education your money can buy!

This was a very comprehensive and educational tour. It provided an excellent overview of what happened during DDay - specifically for the American forces. Thierry was our guide. It was obvious that he was incredibly passionate about the subject and wanted to share his extensive knowledge of the invasion and the war. I was very moved by the last stop that was at a church where two medics made into a make-shift hospital. They treated all wounded, including Germans.

We had a full day tour to Omaha and Utah beaches with Remy as our Guide. Agreed we could not imagine doing the tour with anyone else. His knowledge is superb as is his ability to tell the stories of D-Day. Would thoroughly recommend this, especially for Americans.

The trip with overlord tours to Omaha & Utah beaches. was amazing. Our tour guide Remy was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of D-day which made the trip even that much better. Couldn’t have asked for a more impactful experience. Well done!

Do not miss this tour! My husband had wanted to go to Normandy and the D Day beaches for years We signed up for a full day tour from Bayeux and had a small group of 7 people including us.
We were so lucky to have gotten our guide , Fred. He was fantastic!! He was so knowledgeable and well informed on everything we saw and the sites we visited He had visual aids, maps and photos to explain where we were and the challenges the Allies faced in landing on the beaches.
Fred made the history come alive. He told stories about not only the big sites but also some lesser known ones that he made sure we saw. He is a consummate professional and pleasant to spend a day with going above and beyond. Special thanks to him for dropping my hat off at our hotel when I left it in the van after the tour. Merci!!
I would give this tour and Fred a 10!!

What is the difference between the "Band of Brothers" tour and the "Omaha and Utah Beaches" tour?

I believe Band of Brothers tours only goes to Omaha Beach and then follows the path the 101st airborne took. I don't think you go to Utah Beach. We did see the Band of Brothers tours at some of the other locations we went to.
We will have a car and will be visiting so won’t need transportation but would like a tour of both Omaha and Utah beaches. Do you offer something like that?

I'm pretty sure you'll have to take a tour in a vehicle with others. There's no one that will just meet you at the beach and give you a tour.
Will be in Bayeux for three days in late October and considering both the Omaha and BOB Full Day Tour and the Omaha and Utah Beaches Tour. Would there be too much overlap between these tours to make it worth our while?

WE did the all day Overlord tour which was fantastic. Next day we had a car & visited Utah beach for longer stay & went to Honfleur which I highly recommend along with Arromanches, very worthwhile!
