We absolutely loved this tour! Bertrand was an absolute delight. He made the trip fun and interesting and was patient with traffic. He had great stories about the sites and we ended up talking about all sorts of other subjects. He did a great job pivoting as we got delayed by morning traffic and had to adjust our schedule a bit and find an alternative lunch location - it was fantastic!

We were blessed to have Bertrand for our guide! He was pleasant, very knowledgeable, and by the end of the day we felt like he was one of our family. He seemed to go out of his way to make our visit to Normandy a very memorable one.We will certainly recommend him and your company to all our friends.

Certainly an experience we will all remember. Guide picked us up on time. Did not seem as knowledgeable as we expected and seemed to rush us through. Memorable experience but not the value for the price.

The Normandy D Day tour is really long and sometimes guides need to speed the pace in order to fit all the sites that are suppose to be included. Meanwhile we will inform your guide to be more careful next time.

Amazing bucket list day with Lucile in Normandy! She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of famous sites which made the trip very educational! Very emotional day seeing in great detail how the brave soldiers saved the world as we know it. Highly recommend this wonderful tour and especially Lucile!

This was the best tour of our European trip and one of the best tours I have ever taken. Our guide and driver, Berthon, was awesome. He is very well-educated and engaging and taught us a fair bit of French history, in general, on the drive to Normandy. Once there, we learned in detail about the "Battle of Normandy" (D-Day and the subsequent WW II battles in the region). We visited two landing zones on Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. We then enjoyed a great leisurely lunch and drove through Bayeaux on the way home.
I had taken a Paris-Normandy private tour 4 years ago, but this was a much better, completely different experience. With Berthon's broad knowledge base (masters in history and art history) AND sense of humor, we learned about much more than just D-Day during a very fun day.
Clearly, this is an expensive tour, but considering that it goes from 7:00-19:00, with door-door pickup/drop-off in Paris (during rush hour--an experience in itself!) and provides learning in so many areas more than just D-Day, we felt it was a good value.

As a group of four people, we booked the 13-hour trip from Paris to the Normandy Battlefields. I cannot say enough about our tour guide and driver, Ricardo. He picked us up at our Paris hotel. Throughout the drive to and from Normandy, Ricardo was a wealth of information. He made the trip interesting and enjoyable. We learned so much about the WW II Normandy beaches through his commentaries. We also experienced a stop at the German military cemetery. For our lunch break, Ricardo took us to a lovely local bakery, "Boulangerie". We ordered homemade baguette bread with a choice of sandwich homemade fillings, bakery, chips and a drink. The weather was pleasant as we sat at the beach for lunch. Because of our excellent tour guide, RIcardo, the Normandy trip was one of the highlights of our Paris trip. Thank you RIcardo!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history. The trip was supposed to be 13 hours and we came back 2 hours early. Would have been nice to spend a little more time on the beach and some other places but we were also quite tired so it all worked out. It is quite a long drive from Paris. I would recommend this as an overnight trip.

Driver Ricardo was on time, prepared and gave us an outstanding tour of the entire Normandy battle field veaches and American cemetery. Tge drive from Paris was smooth with a running commentary of what we would see plus historical anecdotes. The entire day was just spectacular - and we thank Ricardo for tour. Ask for him!

Nicholas was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and helpful during our full day trip. This was a memorable experience for our family and we would recommend this for anyone interested in the history of Normandy.

Julian was an amazing guide for our trip to Normandy. He added his own "spin" with images and photos and stories on his IPad. It really added to his narrative during the long day. He also made sure we made it to Bayieux to see the Tapestry!
My husband was not feeling his best that day and Julian was accommodating to our requests and schedule.
This tour was a last-minute booking when another tour fell through and we were thrilled with Julian, the transportation and the amazing day.
