We are a couple who would not normally do a ‘tour’ but this tour was well worth the money. Not sure how we would have covered these beautiful villages without a car, but Marlon took us on a journey that was unforgettable. Thank you Marlon for spending a day with us, your commentary was excellent and surpassed our expectations. We talked of life in Marseille, it’s history and it’s people. We were not hurried at all, had a beautiful lunch at Roussillon and feel we saw as much as we wanted to see in one day. It was a big day, but a good one. Highly recommend this over a larger group tour. Thank you for providing this experience for us to enjoy

This trip is ideal if you want to get to know the real Provence. We visited the Provençal villages, the monastery Senanque which is fantastic (you need to ask for a guide separately to visit the monastery). The biggest surprise for me was Fontaine de Vaucluse, the biggest water sources in France, the beauty of nature cannot be described in words. Our guide Marlon was very kind, nice and professional.

What a great day. The villages were all unique in their own way. Isle sur la Sorgue, Fountaine de Vaucluse, Gorde, Roussillon and Lourmarin. Our guide Jennie, was very personable, bubbly and extremely helpful. It was extremely hot that day but the van we were in was very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour and Jennie.

Cette journée était magnifique. J’avais offert cette excursion pour la fête des mères. Avec ma mère, nous en avons eu les yeux émerveillés, et également les oreilles, grâce aux anecdotes, et à la bienveillance d’Eugenie. Elle a su créer une très belle ambiance/cohésion dans notre groupe, et elle n’hésitait pas à nous consulter pour s’adapter au mieux aux souhaits de chacun pour que cette journée soit inoubliable. Chaque village a son propre charme, et il est difficile d’en choisir un plutôt qu’un autre. Expérience à faire les yeux fermés.

We recently did this tour in May 2023 - from Aix-en-Provence. It was the same tour visiting the same villages. It was nice to get out in the countryside and see small villages like Lourmarin and Rousillon. The tour guide was also the van driver, and mostly drove with minimal talking. At each stop, he would briefly tell us about that location and then set us off on our own (with a set time to return). He was from Marseille and not particularly enthusiastic about people from Aix whom he considered rich snobs, and he didn't know what to see in some of the places we visited, e.g. Gordes (he said it was not particularly interesting, except for the view, but gave us a hour to spend on our own).
I suppose your experience would be affected by who you get as your tour guide. We had read about a guide named "Paul" who we thought would be our guide, but that is not who we got. C'est la vie! We rolled with the punches, and still enjoyed the lunch we had at one of the villages. I had the best Pate de Fois Gras (it was the real duck fois gras!) and it was nice to spend a day out in Luberon. In hind sight, a half day would have been sufficient with the guide we had.

We all like both the people and the city of Aix-en-Provence, and same about Marseille, we anyhow often joke about differences. Wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide (plus one in training). We don’t know wine that well and the wine tasting was great. The owner explained how wines have all the “hints of asparagus (what ever)” without any additives. Lunch at the winery was fabulous. I highly recommend this tour.

Everything . This property is gorgeous and a nice part of the city near a beach. the staff was friendly and the room was gorgeous and clean. I would come again next time. The restaurant was wonderful too. well done we loved it .

The villages of the Luberon are each unique, yet all equally beautiful! I highly recommend this tour! Plenty of time in each village even with scenic photo stops between. Paul was super knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Très belle escapade d'une journée dans le Luberon pour découvrir tous ces beaux villages de Provence et avec suffisamment de temps libre pour déambuler à son gré.
Plein d'explications fournies par notre guide Paul très sympa et ponctuel. A faire sans hésiter.
