What an incredible experience. Olivier wasn't just our driver - he was a true wine expert, and someone that you could tell enjoyed what he does for a living. Olivier helped to expand our knowledge of great wines and of the families and wine producers behind them. It was educational and incredibly enjoyable. We are hopeful to have Olivier guide us again in the future.

Olivier is an incredible host - our family had an amazing day exploring the Rhône Valley with multiple wine stops and a wonderful spot for lunch. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about the area and experience it with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide!

Our tour guide, Oliver, was excellent. Very knowledgeable about wine and the area. Also very personable. Great guy and we had a very enjoyable experience.,

We just had an excellent wine tour with Olivier. This was the best wine tour I have been on and I’ve done several. Olivier taught us what it takes to produce quality wine, what the differences the soil makes in the taste of the wine, and more! I thought I knew about wine but I today I realized I have a lot more to learn. Olivier knows way more than the average tour guide. We started on time, ended on time and the bonus was riding through the beautiful French countryside. It was a day we’ll spent. If you have any level of interest in wine, take this tour!!!

Olivier provided us with a fantastic day! We went to 3 different wineries and had ample tastings of both red and white wines at each. Olivier was incredibly knowledgeable about the different wines we tasted and gave us a great overview of the surrounding areas as well. He was also so personable - we felt like we were spending the day with fun relative! We would recommend this tour to anyone that is passionate about wine and wants to experience wineries with a local! Thanks Olivier!

Olivier was extremely knowledgeable, but still made the wine accessible for those who are not experts. He is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He taught us so much about the region and took us to a bunch of local places that were fantastic. We had a wonderful day and learned so much about the wines of the Northern Rhône. Could not recommend more highly!

My wife and I, our two adult children and their partners met Olivier at our rental apartment in Lyon for a full day in the northern Rhone Valley. We visited three outstanding wineries and tasted a variety of wines, including some delicious Cornas and an unusual white Chateau-neuf du Pape. We met with the winemakers in each case and learned about the history of the wineries. Olivier gave us a lot of history of the region.
Two of the three wineries were able to ship purchases to the US. One referred me to their US importer. All do carry-out purchases, of course, so our apartment is stocked.
We made a lunch stop at a very nice restaurant on the Rhone.
We started at 9am (earlier than normal, as crowds were large due to Women's World Cup games in Lyon). We were back by 6pm. None of the wineries we visited were crowded; there were a couple of other small groups at two of them, but we still had a very nice private tour experience. We were the only people at the third.
Olivier's English is great. He was able to accommodate our largeish group with no trouble. He knows the region and has studied wines and the industry. He was born and grew up in Lyon, so has lots of good advice for the city and surrounding activities. He is flexible and can tune the itinerary to suit the customer.
Highly recommended!

We enjoyed Full day private Rhône Valley Wine Tasting Tour from Lyon.
Thanks of Olivier's professional guide, we could know not only the details about Rhône wine&history but also the deep world of gastronomy in all over the France.
During the drive, we enjoyed the beautiful view of Rhône river and wineyard.
We visited lots of interesting and exciting place (museum, wineries, restaurant and the top of the hill,etc) so that we could keep enjoying many types of tastes, flavors, views, knowledges and gastronomy.
I'd like to come back to Lyon and join his other tours too.
I deeply appreciate Olivier for such a wonderful experience.

My husband and I have been on several wine tours throughout the United States and France and this was without a doubt the best one yet!
Olivier has a deep knowledge of not only wine in the Rhone region but throughout France and across the world. The wines we tried were both unique and enjoyable.
Lunch was terrific and we can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to spend the day in the vines with Olivier!
