A great time with the family. Even though we were from Lyon, our Guide made us discover our city as if it was the first time we set foot there. The gastronomic part was just as perfect with very good products from our region.

An amazing experience! We made the food tour old Lyon with friends. We spent a magical moment mixing history, culture and Lyon gastronomy for the delight of our taste buds! Our Guide was an enthusiast who made this tour exciting! Thank you for this moment.

Second time I booked this activity (the first with family) had already delighted me, and this time with friends.

The tour is very pleasant with the discovery of Lyon gastronomy in typical places.
Jeremy is attentive to our requests and also knows very well the little stories of Lyon and the great History.
The 4 hours pass very fast. Culture and gastronomy are mixed very nicely.
We don't leave with hunger but with the desire to come back.
In a word it is an experience to advise for those who want to know Lyon.

Bruno was a fantastic guide! His stories are engaging and interesting. The places we stopped were full of personality and great choices. we were never pressured to buy anything on the tour. It was well paced and secrets were sprinkled along the way. (Things to come back to if we so desired.) I would highly recommend this tour!

A great food tour that covers all the specialities of Lyon, both savoury and sweet plus some wine too! Megan was a great guide, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. You learn lots about the history as well as the food of the region, and you get to explore the ‘traboules’ too!

While this was posted as a Food Tour of Lyon, it should be renamed as a Walking Food AND History Tour as Bruno was just as into telling of Lyon history as he was about the food we tasted. We did get to try a variety of foods & wines which were all really good.
Because of Bruno’s enthusiasm for his hometown, I think the tour lasted a little longer than expected (probably 45-60 minutes longer). But I would definitely recommend this tour.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. We're glad to learn that you enjoyed the different tasting break, as we try to work with some of the best food professionals in Lyon 😁
However, about the "History" part : our Food Tours are indeed really interlaced with the history of Lyon, because these two subjects cannot be dissociated from each other. And, because of that, you will of course be taken on a tour full of (digestible) anecdotes about the city.
On the other hand, sometimes certain of our really passionate guides don't see the time passing by, and they can easily be 5 or 10min late. 😅
But if that's so, the guide ask the visitors if they have something to do after the tour, just for being sure that there's no schedule problem.
We assume that Bruno was particularly keen to share his passion with you, and that made the visit last a little longer than usual... We'll pass on your comment to him, but next time, don't hesitate to tell him if you're in a hurry!

Vincent was amazing. He was enthusiastic and had a great way to share Lyon history while we tried the traditional food of Lyon. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lyon!
