We only had one night in Lyon and wanted to get a good introduction to food culture and see some of the Old Town area. This was a really good tour and our guide Toné was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone in the group had a good time. Our group of 10 visited 5 food locations and in each of them we had a reserved private area where the staff talked us through the produce and gave us samples. In addition, Toné talked about the history of food culture in Lyon, the origin of the Bouchon restaurants and the development of fine dining. It was all very interesting and we had some great food and drinks with some very passionate people. The 5 places we visited were for cheese with wine, sausages with wine, main course in a bouchon (quenelle), dessert and digestif. I highly recommend this tour and Toné certainly made it special for us.

Our guide (Hudu) was excellent. Knowledgeable, funny & patient with our questions. The places we visited were fun & great food choices. I would do this one again.

We had a wonderful tour with Toné. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the gastronomic history of Lyon. The shops and restaurants on the tour were wonderful and the purveyors were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this tour.

We had an incredible tour with Toné! Small group, amazing food, and what I enjoyed most was learning all of the history of Lyon and its gastronomy. Highly recommend!

We had an AMAZING time with our tour guide Toné! I highly recommend this tour- we learned so much about Lyon, the food and a bit of history. The places we tried were delicious and the people we talked with shared their passion of food, drinks and highlighted local foods and traditions. Highly recommend!

This tour was incredible. Toné was a wonderful guide and we were very impressed with not just the food we ate but also the history and stories and recommendations that he shared along the way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Lyon! It was our favourite part of our whole visit there.

Excellent food tour with Tone, very well paced and informative. Good mix of different foods that we wouldn't otherwise have tried.

The selected fantastic iconic Lyon food experiences were way more culturally impressive than I expected. Each locally owned place had an informative engaging expert, award winning and atmospheric session. Very enjoyable and educational fun eating and drinking.

A very nice way to discover Lyon: through food and an excellent guide who knows the history of food, with a special digestive afterwards. Today we’ll go back to all the places we saw yesterday.

The details indicate that only water is provided. Is this a food tour and if so is good included in the price? I’m confused :)
