Our tour guide was fantastic. He gave us an historical review of the evolution of fascism in Germany and the institution of concentrations camps in Germany and elsewhere. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Alun, was very knowledgeable, patient and was willing to answer any questions. He made the experience so much more real and heartfelt, and he was understanding to the needs of our group and kept us together on both the train and bus!

Excellent tour. From the first meeting on the square to guiding a group to Dachau using public transportation Alun was very clear what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge...which was vast. It is a hard tour at least emotionally...but highly recommend everyone take the opportunity to tour Dachau.

Our tour guide Alun was extremely knowledgeable about Dachau. He was very conscientious that the entire group was together. We were provided with the perfect amount of free time to explore the museum at our own pace. Highly recommend!!

My sister, son, his girlfriend and I all feel Alun’s tour was extremely informative, thought-provoking, and very well done. Our tour was full- yet he managed to shepherd us all onto a train and bus to get to Dachau (and back- very busy!). He explained things very clearly and thoughtfully, and yet gave us time to process everything.

Alun is a fantastic guide for the Dachau concentration camp and the surrounding area. We are fascinated with the amount of knowledge and thought provoking detail that was included in the tour. This a solemn reminder of the importance of our history and how easily the human mind can be coerced.

Alun is very knowledgeable and friendly. He does an excellent job of establishing the history and context of the site, and is very respectful of its significance. The balance between the time he provided information and instructed us on how to navigate the museum on our own worked well. You will not regret hiring Alun. He also keeps his tour to a max of 15 people providing a more intimate and informative experience.

Do we need to bring any information on our tour besides our booking confirmation

My recollections are:
We caught train and bus to Dachau. Train would be OK. Bus could be. Please check with the tour organiser. A tour of the Dachau should be OK. My recollection is there are a few tighht spots in the Museum, but these should be navigable. This was a great tour for me but I found the ovens very, very confronting.

This gentleman only takes small groups of no more than 8 persons so in that way everyone can hear and ask questions. As I said in my review he is a wonderful guide

We have a train to Strasbourg at 14:28 to catch at Munich Hbf and we will have to store our luggage there. Is there a way to meet the tour at that station rather than Marienplatz to begin?
