We can't speak highly enough of Jason.
His knowledge of the area is incredible.
He asked us what we wanted to see and showed us accordingly.
He walked at a pace that accommodated my husbands damaged knee and continually asked my husband if he was OK.
We wish Jason continued success.

We learned a lot from Jason. He is very knowledgeable about German and regional history. He was very flexible and let us pick where to go and in what order to do the tour.

Nuremberg is a fabulous city, but I would not recommend Jason as a tour guide. I have booked many tours (Group and Private) through Viator and TripAdvisor, and have never been disappointed until this tour. Jason was rather unorganized and somewhat arrogant, which was doubly annoying as he had the most unimpressive CV of any tour guide I have ever worked with. He did not appear to have a plan for the tour, and was not particularly engaging. The best tour guides really like people, and have a way of engaging their participants, to learn something about their interests and connect it to the experience. I don't think he liked people and I don't think he really wanted to be there. We saw what we needed to see, and he transmitted interesting facts, but it was not a warm and pleasant experience.

Natasha was a great tour guide. She spoke very fluent English, and took the time to recommend her favorite restaurants in town. Truly a wonderful welcome to Nuremberg.

Jason gave my wife and I the tour today. He was incredibly knowledgable and fun to spend the day with. Highly recommend Jason if you have a chance and would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of the area, architecture, and 1930’s German history.

Our tourguide, named Achim, knew a lot about history. He shared a lot of information with our large group (around 17 persons). I found the group a bit too large because Achim had to turn his head from left to right and back to address everyone; sometimes it was a bit hard to follow, as he also spoke quite fast, displaying a lot of routine.
First part, before lunch, was the old town of Nurnberg, second part was the nazi rallygrounds. Especially the second part was a bit rushed as it became later in the afternoon.
We started the tour at 11:15 sharp. Better would have been 10:15 and 45 minutes of lunch (instead of an hour). That would have given us more time for the second part.

Thank you for your feedback. From the information you shared, it sounds like you went on our group tour but mistakenly posted your review to our private tour section. We offer private tours for people, such as you, who don't want to be in a larger group and who wish to tour at their own pace. However, from your review it seems like you chose to do the group tour instead. There are limits to what we can offer on a group tour priced at €29. Seventeen people is not really considered large for a group tour. As you point out, our tour guides do indeed sometimes turn their heads from left to right as they talk in order to try and address everyone in the group. Very sorry if Achim addressing other people on the tour was inconvenient for you. As far as the pacing of the tour, we try to show people as much as reasonably possible within the time frame of a 4-hour tour.

Jason was fantastic. Super knowledgable, friendly, and was so nice to offer customizations to maximize the experience. Three hours went super fast and I got a personal "best of" tour!

Absolutely amazing tour with Jason Ellers. I knew nothing about Nuremberg and the city's centuries of history. I could have spent hours more touring the beautiful old city with Jason. Very interesting/enlightening. Highly, highly recommend!
