It was an amazing experience with Gareth over the 6 hours. We covered plenty of ground across Berlin, covering both sights that I had seen earlier but from a slightly different angle. Being both a day and night tour, we were able to capture photos during daylight, dawn/dusk and later at night. Feedback on my photos were provided as we moved along the tour, along with recommendations on camera settings to use to get the best photo for the specific scene based on various factors.
I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for both a walking tour around Berlin but also want to take great photos.

Huge thanks to Gareth! We only had a couple days and with the limited time, Gareth provided us a great deal we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. He also graciously moved our start time an hour and a half later to take advantage of the magic hour. I did get some great feedback and shots to go with it. Totally worth the time and expense.

I did both the daytime and night time tours with Gareth. It was great to be able to complete the tours over two days as 6 hours in one day would have been too much. Gareth is knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful and a lovely person to spend time with. I am happy with my images and appreciate Gareth's input, both technically and in getting us to good places to capture Berlin.

Gareth was very friendly and helpful. The rain in the first part of the tour proved to be an advantage rather than a problem as I was able to get some unique high view shots from one of Gareth's secret photo spots while keeping dry. Highly recommended!

I went for the 3h Berlin Photography Walking Tour with Katrin. Because of my itinerary, we had to schedule the trip to start at a later time. The arrangement was easy and straight forward. Katrin is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have some experience with photography but would like to explore more. She taught me how to make pictures that tell a story, how to play with the lights, and include subject into the frame. She also shared with me a side of Berlin that a tourist will never know. All in all, I'd highly recommend Katrin and Aperture tour.

As an Australian in Berlin, it was great to see the city through the eyes of a local photographer. Marzena was a fantastic guide and an awesome photographer who was clearly vested in ensuring I got some great angles and perspectives. She was willing to deviate from plan to ensure that I got the subject matter that mattered most to me and was very informative on the history of the places visited. Marzena was gracious enough to suggest further shooting opportunities in my own time. Highly recommend this tour.

Had a great experince with Marzena on the Aperture night Photography tour. She gave me not only great insights in the city but also helped improving my Photography skills. Our Christmas market location shoot was one to remember.

Dominic guided us on this tour and initially sat with us to discuss our level of photographic knowledge and our expectations of the tour. He the constructed the tour to provide us with opportunities to compose photos which were a little different and then reviewed our photos and provided suggestions on improvements. We had some fun panning and trying to capture the 'one instant' photo. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learnt so much from Dominic. I look forward to doing other Aperture Tours in other cities I visit.

This was our second Aperture experience following Amsterdam last week and we drew another Ace.
Katrina was outstanding. Friendly, fun and a great teacher for us to keep improving our photography skills.
Great customer experiences can be a rare thing, but Aperture proved to us, it’s a habit for them.
Shame there Business has not expanded to the destinations on the rest of our holiday, but we will use them again when we get back to Melbourne and see our Home town in a different light.

Dominic made this one of the two best tours I have ever had. He helped me improve my photography with constructive criticism and a lot of patience. He took me to areas that I would never have seen on my own, and because of him I came away with some very good images.
