Me and the OH visited Berlin for a holiday and I found this event on the internet. We paid €20 each which gives you entry to the comedy club, a free slice of pizza (Bonus points for it being vegan) and 2 free shots. They have happy hour on selected drinks from 7-8pm, then pizza is served, then the comedy starts from 9pm. We saw 5 comedians and each of them were funny. The MC was funny and got the crowd going well. We were sat at the front and worried about being 'picked on' by the acts, but that didn't happen as its one of the rules of this club. We met a friendly family Sat next to us, the atmosphere was great, barman and other staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Drinks were about average price for Berlin. They also sell some merchandise and hot sauce and the comedians hung around after and were happy to chat to us. I would definitely recommend going alomg to this event. Excellent value for money

Wir waren zur Open Mic Night da und hatten einen sehr tollen Abend! Die Besitzer sind sehr kultig, und ich wurde von Neil gut beraten was Hot Sauce angeht. Pizza ist an dem Abend ausgefallen, weil der Pizzalieferant doof ist. Dafür gab es am Abend mehrfach gratis Shots (Apfelkorn) und einen 2€ Gutschein für die Bar. Die Comedians bei Open Mic Veranstaltungen sind ja immer ein kleines Überraschungspaket, aber man hat hier die Chance aufstrebende Comedians einmal vor einem kleinen Publikum zu sehen. Dharmander hat dazwischen jedenfalls alles gegeben!

An experience worth experiencing in Berlin. Cosmic Comedy Club holds at least three variety
shows a week, with their Thursday night shows being open mic, while their Friday and
Saturday night shows feature more prominent comedians. Due to our travel plans, we could
only attend the Thursday night show in which tickets needed to be bought in advance.
We purchased the VIP tickets which gave us a couple of free shots and vegetarian/vegan pizza
and our own table. The pizza is free for each ticket, VIP or not, while the shots seemed to only
be free for the purchase of VIP tickets. However, if you're lucky, there is a chance that free
shots are given out to everyone for a short period of time.
There is also a small bar in the vicinity of the comedy club, for an hour between 7-8pm, you'd
be able to purchase as much promotional alcohol as you want, but prices return to full price
from 8pm till the end of the show. There are also small snacks you can purchase from the bar,
snacks like chocolate bars, peanuts and other hand held food.
Due to our travel plans, we could only attend their open mic show on Thursday, and we were
surprised by how packed it was. The show was great and we had a great time, although open
mic, the comedians did put on a good show and so they deserve double thumbs up for the
effort. The only downside was how cramped the place was. Our table was at the front and
corner of the stage, and so our chairs were squashed between the table next to us and one
directly behind us. It was inconvenient to stand up, head to the toilet or even get to the bar. But
it was clear that they had to pack as many chairs and tables as possible to accommodate the sheer number of people there. The entry fee is not at all pricey, even the VIP tickets were extremely affordable and worthwhile, not to forget you receive free shots and pizza. Hence, it is understandable that they need to cover the costs by selling tickets and having as many people as possible with each show.
The audiences were friendly, even though we did not know anyone in Berlin, the other
attendees were easy to talk to and open to small talk. Everyone is there to have a laugh and a
good time, and that is exactly where you'll be able to experience the light hearted side of
Berlin.
It was a good close to our trip.

Warm friendly atmos, great comedy & compare. Easy to find, quick bar service. Sold out on a Saturday so worth booking, wish I paid a little extra for a table though but still very good. English speaking with comics from all over the world.

Fabulous wee place to come and laugh with like minded non-capatalist people's.
Great line up, with a good mix of newcomers vs experienced on the circuit.
Vegan pizza is an awesome extra, and free shots too.
Definitely worth a visit.
Didn't try the hot sauce but know it is Neil's passion so bound to be good. Next time...

Everyone made the same childlike jokes. No substance and very superficial “humour”. The host was especially weird and obnoxious. We have more fun now after the show just thinking about how awkwardly terrible it was than we did during the show watching adults who never grew out of their 5-year-old sense of humour.

Thank you for your interesting comments. Very surprising review as the room was full of 130 people who really enjoyed the show. We received feedback from other audience members that did not match your perception at all. None of the performers or the host have ever received the assessment that was given by you.
However, you at least did get a laugh at the end of the night. Please feel free to come and do a spot at one of our Thursday Open-Mic shows, so you may show us what "adult-like" comedy should be like. Normally there is a 4 week wait to get a spot, but we will give obvious comedy connoisseurs like yourselves priority. We look forward to hearing from you. All the best, Team Cosmic Comedy

War ein sehr guter Abend. Pizza war gut hatten mit Dr. Oetker gerechnet aber nein wurde geliefert.
Shots sind auch im Ticket dabei.

Went in October 2022 and was overall a great night. Staff were super friendly. Comics were so funny. Pizza and free shots, literally cannot complain.
Really recommend if you are looking for something a little different to do.

I'm leaving this excellent review so the MC Dar can show his brother he is in the flight magazine! Also because it was great fun! I went alone...an older single woman traveling through Berlin...and I was warmly welcomed and felt right at home. It felt good to laugh. Excellent comedians! Highly recommend!
