My husband and I had 4 days in Berlin and this tour was a must for us. This was a confronting day for us but it was something I reccomend everyone experience and pay their respects to while visiting Germany. Our tour guide Sarah was Australian (same as us) and we were able to ask her lots of questions and she was extremely knowledgeable. I definitely reccomend spending the extra money for a private tour as it was much more intimate. Thank you Sarah for a very moving day. This trip was the highlight of our stay in Berlin.

Wow. Paul gave our group a perfect tour of Sachsenhausen. He had just the right mix of emotion and distance. He handled questions very well and instilled a genuine appreciation in my students.

Aaron was an amazing guide! He took the time to give us the history and context of what was going on at the time. He answered every question we had and as depressing as the subject is, made it as informative as possible. Would highly recommend Aaron for another tour. Next time!

Amazing experience. It is really shocking to visit a place like this.
Paul, our tour guide, was very professional. He really knew the history of the place and explained us many interesting details that made the difference. Willing to answer all our questions. 100% recommended!

We visited the sachsenhausen camp, our tour guide Paul was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained in detail all of the history of the camp and made our trip the best day of our city break. Would definitely recommend!

The tour was provided by Paul. He deserves a very sincere compliment for this! By his clear explanation and great knowledge of the camp, he took us impressively in the history of Sachsenhausen.

Paul gave us a great tour around sachsenhausen. He’s a very interested tourguide with a great amount of knowledge of history. Takes time to answer all your questions and tells in respectful and animated way about all the horrifying history.
Paul is a very personal guide, he reflects on his opinions vs facts about the history and is very clear about it. He cares about his group and is checking in often if this meets the expectations.
He ends with a note that this place makes him a more sympathetic person, it made me as well, so job well done!

My teenaged daughter and I took the tour with Paul. He was absolutely excellent and extremely knowledgeable. For those interested in an informative history lesson this tour will not disappoint. And if Paul’s mother is reading his reviews your child did just fine.

We were all interested in this tour but hesitant due to its nature.
So glad we did it as our guide for the day was amazing & put us all at ease from the start.
Chaperoned is on all trains.
Paul was friendly patient & very knowledgeable on all things German,even giving us a in depth history lesson into Germany as a whole.
The camp itself was a sinister and formidable place due to it use,it also rained in the morning,not hard or cold but this added to the sad surrounding we were in.
So many interesting facts & stories.
We were very humbled & will be forever grateful & in debt to all who suffered & gave their lives here.
It was good to pay our respects to all.
We would not return but would definitely recommend this tour.
Thanks to Paul for sharing his vast knowledge & spending the day with us..Much appreciated.
He is a great asset to the Berlin tours.
Keep up the great work Paul for passing on this important historical information so ours & future generations do not forget.
