Für touristische Besuche gut.

Lohnt sich dann, wenn man die damit verbundenen Ermäßigungen nutzt, beispielsweise die Museen, Museumsschiffe, oder eine kommentierte Hafenrundfahrt macht oder auch bei der Alsterschifffahrt. Auch im Planetarium. Also vorab informieren und planen, was man sehen und tun möchte. Wer nicht viele touristische Orte besichtigen will, ist mit den normalen Tageskarten der Verkehrsbetriebe und jetzt auch mit dem dem Deutschlandticket möglicherweise besser versorgt, zumal man die Hamburg Card nur 5 Tage nutzen kann.

Mit der Hamburg Card kann man problemlos alle transportmittel benutzen ( billiger bei Gruppenbenutzung), außerdem gibt es damit Preisrabatt bei sehr vielen Attraktionen!

At the places we went it was'nt possible to get percentage off the entrance prices. We enjoyed walking round Hamburg and had nu use of the free public travelling.

No sense to buy it if you are a family as the family offers are much cheaper without any card!!!

I do not recommend for families and generally it is good only for people who do not like to calculate their expenses. We bought the Hamburg card as it promised to have discounts on many touristic attractions and free public transport. We bought a family card and paid 20 euro more compared to the group public transport card (HVV) for the same time. So, we expected to have at least 10 euro discount from the attractions. Finally, we realised that almost all the touristic spots offer family card which is much cheaper than the discount given by the Hamburg card. For example, the Reiner Abicht tickets for a river cruise cost 64 for 2 adults and 2 kids with the Hamburg card , and 60euro just the family ticket without any card. And if you buy the same ticket online, it is 50 euro for a family… The same with the other places we visited….,so you do not need the Hamburg card if you are with your family here, just look for the family offers and take the HVV family transport card!!!

We bought a group card for 4 for 3 days and it was great value at around £43. A bug in the sustem meant we couldn't buy on line as it wouldn't accept a UK postcode but it was easyto purchase at the airport.

Note: You don't actually get a card - just a single piece of paper with a barcode on it.

It gave us free transport to and from the airport as well free transport in Central Hamburg. It works on a trust basis and we were never asked to show our 'card'. We used it all the time during our stay.

Another benefit is it gives you discount to attarctiuons although some will give you a better discount if you buy online .
It is very good value

Eigentlich ne tolle Sache. Verbunden mit dem Nahverkehr sehr toll. Aber, zu werben mit dem Tierpark Hagenbeck, der aber schon länger nicht mehr dabei ist, ist sehr ärgerlich.

Hamburg in der Adventszeit und jeden Abend ein Kulturereignis
Wir hatten eine gute Planung vorher, auch dank Tripadvisor. Hotelvorschläge, Freizeitideen und Frühstücksideen haben uns gut geholfen

Für uns war es unnötig. Wir hatten vom Hotel bereits ein Ticket für die ÖVM bekommen, außerdem gibt es gerade das 9€ Ticket. In der Ausstellung die wir besucht haben wurden uns 2€ ermäßigt. Die anderen Aktivitäten die wir unternahmen waren in keiner Kollaboration mit der HamburgCard.

Saubere, aufgeräumte Stadt mit unzähligen und wirklich sehenswerten Orten
Unsere 5- tägige Reise nach Hamburg, zusammen mit unseren (Enkeln, 14 und 16) war in jeder Hinsicht eine gelungene Reise. Wir waren bereits auf der ganzen Welt in unzähligen Großstädten und hslten fest, Hamburg braucht sich hier nicht zu verstecken, ganz im Gegenteil.
