Angeliki was a fantastic tour guide! Highly recommend this walking tour to see and understand the best of Frankfurt. It’s a great way to start off your time in the city or even after you’ve wandered around yourself, it is still worthwhile to hear the stories and history.

Great tour guide Jennifer was great. She kept us informed and kept a pace that was great for me in my wheelchair. The town does have brick roads but you are able to get everyplace on the tour without leaving your chair. This is a great trip for someone in a wheelchair to see the sights of old town and the cathedral areas. Would highly recommend.

We picked Frankfurt Tour on Foot based on the reviews. We only had one afternoon in Frankfurt, and we thought that a walking tour would be the best way to get some sense of what the city was about. Jo and her husband (David) were easy to communicate with online, and scheduling the tour was quick. Jo ended up giving us the tour, and from the start, she was very good about asking what we wanted to see. She provided very interesting insights, panning both the history of the town and the way of living in a modern city. We very much enjoyed the tour, and we would recommend to anyone who wants to explore Frankfurt with a knowledgeable guide.

Angeliki is an awesome tour guide. She is s incredibly knowledgeable, dynamic and insightful. She has well thought out and we’ll read perspectives on historical events. I strongly recommend this 3 hour tour at the beginning of your visit to Frankfurt.

Jennifer was fantastic! Knowledgeable about Frankfurt’s history, architecture and culture. A wonderful way to spend 4 hours and to get to know about some of the historic buildings and monuments plus other tourist places to visit. Jennifer is extremely friendly and engaging. A must do experience in Frankfurt.

Highly recommend the Frankfurt on Foot walking tour. Our guide, Angeliki, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable on the history of Frankfurt. The three hour tour provided a highlights reel of the city, including a snack break at Kleinmarkthalle. At a price of 20 euros, this is an incredible value for such a personalized experience.

The walking tour was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told use a lot about Frankfurt history. What I love about this tour is that, their was some much history in plain sight that you would of just walked past but the tour showed you the history and put it in context. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were in Frankfurt just after Christmas and was surprised to find the main plaza filled with people with golden crowns and dressed as kings. There were groups of them walking about the "old town" and even some singing. It gave an extra bonus to an excellent tour. We enjoyed the guide's attitude and knowledge of local history. It was the high point of our short visit to Frankfurt.

How long in distance is this walking tour?

I believe it was about 7km but at a leisurely pace and the route does loop back around the centre at some points. With a small group it was easy to accommodate individual speeds and as mentioned in other posts, the are a number of stops as well.

I'm really keen to join the tour. My flight is scheduled to land at Frankfurt Airport at 9 am. So it's a bit touch and go if I book in advence.

Both of the previous answers are true from my experience - Theuy collect money at the tour. Also, if you are a senior citizen or a student they had a discount with the cash pay that I did not see from the Viator site

Yes, you can bring your dog but you won't be able to go into the Kaiserdom, the Alte Nikolai, the Klein Markt Halle, or the Karmeliter Cloister with the dog because they don't allow it.

The tour starts at 10:30, so I think it would be very difficult to make it to the tour in time. But the tour goes every day, I believe. Why not just take the tour the next day?
