Excellent tour. Highly recommend. Andreas was a fabulous guide. He shared tons of info on the area and what it was like to grow up in East Germany.

A highlight of our Northern European cruise. Andreas was informative and entertaining with the love for his home shining through.
Enjoyed exploring Waremunde and Rostock at a perfect pace, to take it all in.
We had our teenagers with us and they were captivities by Andreas personable local knowledge.

Outstanding guide with wonderful tour. Our guide Audreaus met us at the appointed time with the identification to identify him from the crowd. After introductions he led us to a cafe where we had comfortable seating for a historical prospective of the area form a local having been born and raised in Warnemunde and then into the options available for the tour emphases. Adjusting the tour to the desire of the group we had an information packed day with a wonderful lunch stop in Rostock. This is a value packed tour for you excursion $.
Warnemunde was an interesting fishing community and seaside village. Rostock is a great example of an ancient walled city an interesting city.

Thank you so much for your review, it means a lot to us! We are happy to hear you had such a great time with us in Warnemünde/Rostock, these cities are very beautiful hidden gems of Germany. Naturally, we don' t have the power to control the weather, but we try our very best to deliver the highest standards even if it is a bit more windy or rainy. :)

Our tour was very pleasant. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites and area we were in. Her pace for the tour accommodated all ability levels of the group. The place chosen for lunch was very good offering a great variety. Would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful smaller towns. Great alternative to Berlin if you’ve already been there. Guide was informative. Great lunch with lots of food.
Trains were stopped on way back. Our guide got us back to ship in time. It was an adventure!

Great tour of Warnemunde and Rostock. I loved both places that I had visited. The port side is so beautiful. And I loved the church in Rostock, one of the oldest Astronomical clock. What a sight to see!

The fishing village is about 10 minutes walking distance from the cruise ship. A nice, cozy village. nice canal and resturants. too far to talk to light house so I took the 1pm sightseeing bus to Rostock for 25 Euro. They offer passengers with free warm beer/water. Bus has free wi-fi but didn't work. the first stop is a local St. Mary church. I think it is waste of time there. however, I love their gift shop with great price. Then drop off to the historic old town. A beautiful town with a nice square. Many shops and resturants. free wifi near the square. We have about 2 hours to walk around. Then we visit St. Peter's church. Inside decoration are stunning, especially, the organ structure and the clock.
