我有一个英语导游，负责的女士人很好，行程也很有趣。大概50到55分钟。上楼梯前，一个导购往我身上喷了些古龙水，因此我可以享受他们美妙的香水。拿着酒店大堂展示的促销卡，我付了2.5欧元（半价）买了票并得到了9折的优惠。我很推荐这个。

Underrated and fantastic! There are many great museums in Cologne but I remember this one very fondly. The story of the 'Eau de Cologne' is really interesting and you get a tour of a museum that is absolutely chocked full of stuff that the guide doesn't even have time to go through them all.
On weekends they have a mandatory costume-guided tour but we loved it. Tim (I believe) was a really fun tour guide who played the part of Mr Farina very well. He engaged us and knew his stuff, answering our questions and elongating certain sections we clearly enjoyed. Plus - the mini gift at the end! So much fun and such a great story and souvenir of Cologne.

Nous avons assistés à la visite guidée en costume historique en français. Le guide était très bien. Nous avons appris sur la fabrication de l’eau de Cologne et sur Son concepteur. La narration dure près d’une heure et ce dans deux salles seulement ! Nous n’avons pas pu rester dans les autres pièces du musée. Nous n’avons rien vu des objets du musée. Nous avons été très déçus. Si nous avions su, nous aurions choisi un autre musée.
En fin de visite, dans le magasin, nous avons reçu un échantillon…

nous Vous remercions pour Votre commentaire sur notre visite guidée historique en français. Nous sommes trés heureux, que la visite de notre acteur Vous a plu.
Malheureusement nous offrons un tour après l’autre, tous les jours à chaque heure pleine, et le musée est toujours occupé par une visite. Ainsi on ne peut pas se fermer dans les salles et visiter le musée tout seul. Merci encore pour Votre visite!

Leuke kleine activiteit, over de geschiedenis van eau de cologne. Supergoede Engelstalige gids met een enthousiast verhaal! Het leren herkennen van geuren is leuk, net als het presentje bij afscheid. Had wel iets meer willen horen over het productieproces. Gewoon een leuk uitje, ook met iets oudere kinderen. En heel betaalbaar!

This is a slightly unusual tour but very informative and fun. Our tour guide (apologies, I forget her name) was engaging throughout, full of information, stories and enthusiasm. The 'smelling' at the end was also well done. All in all it was great to hear the real story of Eau de Cologne, and of the copyists, while in Cologne.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, very informative guide and you get a little bottle of eau-de-cologne at the end.
There are quite a few stairs to navigate so not suitable if you are disabled, I use a wheelchair but can walk short distances and I managed ok

Great tour! Really interesting and fun to smell the different scents in the old perfume factory. Tim was a great guide and just the right length for kids (teen and tween).

It was very comprehensive and interesting but in hot weather the confined spaces are very uncomfortable for groups. Would recommend a walk thru w simplified talk in historic rooms and more extensive lecture on scent production in comfortable climate controlled meeting room. Alas, it burst my bubble about 4711

Thanks for your review. It's great that you enjoyed the informative tour. The birthplace of Eau de Cologne is a historic building where we make changes where permitted, such as the air conditioning in the belÈtage. But of course there is no comfortable climate controlled meeting room.
