My son and I recently did the private tour of Madinat Al Zahar with Elena. It was truly an amazing experience. Elena’s knowledge of the historical, religious, and social significance of the site was incredible. She provided insight about the daily life of the inhabitants as well as information about the relationship to things happening in today’s world. I would definitely recommend this tour with Elena.

I booked Elena through Toursby Locals and my husband and I were very happy with our tour. Madinat al Zahra is an amazing place but it is important to understand its history and also to have a guide to bring to life the ruins and their story. Elena was able to do that. She also helped with our transport which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful experience visiting the site. Our guide Elena was outstanding. The site is well worth a visit while in Cordoba. Elena was kind, well informed and explained every historical detail concerning what is known about the place. She went above and beyond and even helped us arrange transportation after the visit. I could not recommend her enough.

As I was solo traveling and it was my first time in Spain, I had no idea what to expect so I booked this service, and I have been absolutely amazed at how knowledgeable this tour was. I have learned a lot, had lots of fun as well, and would totally recommend this tour to everybody. Would I do this again you ask? Yes! definitely hundred times over!

I confirmed the private tour via Viator and TripAdvisor. The cost was charged to my credit card. I was issued a bar code confirmation with a request to meet the guide at 9am on the day of our tour (Aug 6th). we took 2 taxis from Cordoba...to the side...and no one showed up!! It is UNACCEPTABLE! No email from Mind your Guide, no email from Viator, no email from TripAdvisor to inform us. I then sent a note that morning and got an email that "due to a system error" the trip had not been processed. How ridiculous is it to receive a conformation code, have payment authorized and taken and have instructions provided to meet the guide---and then it's a system issue. it's shameful!!

I'm so sorry about this situation and we do apologize (as we did in private message). 100% remboursement has been already processed and system has been revised together with Viator support to avoid same failure in the future. Thanks for your review.

We recently did a private tour of Madinat Al-Zahra Palace with Elena and it was fantastic! She was so accommodating - able to take us there and back for a small extra fee, starting the tour early to avoid crowds, and was a fun and knowledgeable guide. She made the site visit far more interesting than it would have been if we had visited alone. I'd highly recommend this tour with Mind Your Guide and any other tour guided by Elena.

We did a private tour the other week with Elena and visited the Madinat al-Zahra site.
Elena was very knowledgeable, super friendly and just a delight to learn from.
I would highly recommend any tour with Elena of the regions that she covers.
