We always travel these buses and have been on them in London, Bath and Barcelona. Still got to do York. They're a great way to see the places and work out what you want to do
There are three routes in Maliga. Red, Blue and Green. In reality, the green only takes you to the Botanical Gardens and brings you back. No commentary and can best be described as a service bus. Check the times also as it only runs at certain times of the day.
Blue route.... I don't see the point. Very limited commentary. You're waiting for the bus to move for longer than the route itself. Only really useful if you're visiting the automotive museum. Again, check the times as it only runs at certain times of the day.
Maliga is an old city. The Res route skirts the city and points to stuff around the edges but not really showing you the city. If you do get off, make at the top by the Castle. Beautiful views of Maliga harbour.
Overall, for the price, I've seen more on foot, albeit with no commentary.
Lastly, we did the boat. An hour out into the harbour and back. There was some early commentary but limited and I couldn't make it out.
We enjoyed the boat trip and the red line but if you're not planning to go to the Botanical Gardens,forget the green line and seriously ask if the blue is worth the time waiting, especially if you get on anywhere other than stop 1, by the railway station.

Recommend this tour to the city of Malaga because it will show you the city at 360 degrees. Recommendation also for the driver Ana who greeted us with a smile and answered all our questions, giving us valuable advice and information on places to visit near Malaga.

We booked the tour in Malaga, after one stop the bus driver threw us out of the bus with “Change Bus”. No explanation, nothing, the next bus didn't take us. The representative of the company that sold the tickets at the stop just told us to wait for the next one, it's none of her business. Audio guide also worked on almost no seats.

We bought the essential package for 48hrs and managed to go to most of the experiences on offer. This meant it was value for money. The late night boat tour with the violinist was a lovely experience and made the boat trip. I don't think the boat trip would have been as good otherwise. The museums and galleries were great to get into and the walking tour was very good. This ended with the Flamenco which was a highlight. The bus tour was disappointing as the headphone connections did not work and a bit more information on the history of Málaga and surrounding area would have been worthwhile. The bus mainly stayed on the red and blue lines, and there did not seem to be any buses on the green line to the Botanic gardens. Overall I feel the experience was worthwhile because we made sure to go to most things on offer and this helped us to see the City of Málaga more so than we would have without.

The bus was a good way to get around the city and see parts you probably wouldn’t walk to.
We got our tickets from an on street stall for €25pp but were not given a leaflet. The stops are not all clearly signposted which can make it difficult. I would highly recommend downloading the app before using the bus as it gives you the map and location/times of the busses.

Great way to get around Málaga and see the sights. We used it throughout the day as a city circular bus and managed to explore a lot of the city.

Excellent tour. Picked up the bus at the station and did most of the red route, getting off at the Plaza de la Marina. The English commentary was good, and not only explained the sights , but talked about the history of Malaga. On a couple of occasions the commentary was out of sync, but didn't spoil it.
After lunch we went for the Green Route. We expected it to be better indicated (Stop 4). We checked with the adjacent bar and established that it was the correct stop. Also as the frequency was every 75 minutes, we had a long wait, so managed a drink in the bar. We stayed on the bus , but on another occasion would have got off at the Botanical Gardens, which looked amazing.

No. La línea verde es la más cercana pero su parada está lejos. Te aconsejo entrar en la página de city-sightseeng, elijes Málaga y allí podrás ver los mapas de recorrido de la ciudad. El más cercano es LA VERDE. Pero lejos su parada. Espero te sirva para evaluar.

You can board the bus from any of the designated stops.
Cruise passenger information: Walk to the closest City Sightseeing Malaga bus stop 7 La Farola, which is approx. 700m from the Malaga Cruise Terminal. This is an approx. 10-minute walk from the Cruise Terminal. Walk towards the Lighthouse; this is where the bus stop 7 La Farola is located.

You can get off at any of the stops
ITINERARY
Hop on the bus at any of the stops to start the tour. On this Malaga hop-on, hop-off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. The stops cover all of Malaga’s main attractions such as the Castillo de Gibralfaro, Jardin Botanico and Museo Picasso among many others.
Hop off at any of the stops to visit attractions of your choice. Enjoy panoramic views of the city as you are driven around Malaga and listen to audio commentary in 8 languages.
