We're giving the tour 4 stars for only one reason. First, Pepe was a fabulous guide and driver. He deserves 10 stars. We took the tour to Gibraltar from our cruise ship. On the way to Gibraltar Pepe gave us a good explanation of what we were seeing and what to expect for the day. 2 hours later we arrived at customs to enter Gibraltar from Spain. We were denied entrance because we did not have the customs stamp enter Spain. Something our cruise line had no knowledge of. Nor did the tour company. Apparently the rules had changed. Despite Pepe's effort, and the effort of the tour company, there was no entrance. Pepe did a great pivot and guided us around the various scenic places on our way back to Malaga. The tour company graciously gave us a 50% refund. While we didn't get to go to the rock, the day was full of fun! Thank you, Pepe!

Thank you for your message. But we still don't understand why 4 stars. The authorities have surprised us and you with a new regulation. Pepe, of course, excellent, what you don't know is that lowering the rating would be less work for Pepe and others. And what you don't know is that the Agency (small Agency, maybe you think we are a multinational) is the one that managed the 50% refund, is the one that pressured Pepe to do Ronda and Mijas, and is the one that paid Pepe for all the trips to Gibraltar then the new alternatives.

Many Thanks to our guides Eduardo and Tarik! Gibraltar Private Tour is well organized, informative and relaxed. Tarik, our guide in Gibraltar was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed exploring Gibraltar at our own pace and did not feel rushed when taking a little longer than the allocated time. Eduardo was our driver to Gibraltar, I felt safe and comfortable throughout our journey there and back. Eduardo provided me with a wealth of information about Malaga its history and culture. I definitely would recommend this tour and look forward to booking with Eduardo in the future for tours in Spain.

Do not hesitate to book this trip. Really unique experience and Pepe in Spain and Abdel in Gibraltar were amazing. They made the entire experience so seamless. Our family of five (3 Y.A. children) all loved it. Pepe gave just the right amount of info on the drive to Malaga, and handed us off directly to Abdel, who gave us a lot of information about Gibraltar and specific instructions at each of the stops. Some family members don't usually enjoy caves or heights, but both were no problem. The monkeys are great. After seeing many cathedrals, mosques, beautiful old towns, fortresses and palaces throughout southern Spain, this was a much needed different experience.

We were collected from apartment right on time, vehicle was really nice and clean. On the way to Gibraltar we got a good commentary on what we were looking at. It was about a 2hr drive to Gibraltar. When we arrived we were taken through immigration and handed over to a specialist guide of Gibraltar. He was extremely informative, possibly could of driven a bit slower and was difficult to see all the sights from the back seat. We were taken almost to the top much further than if you were on a bus or on your own. The cave we went through and the views from the top spectacular.

My family came back raving about their experience in Gibraltar. The historic sights! The monkeys! And more than anything, the kindness and attentiveness of their tour guides. My husband said they were truly remarkable. Mohammed and Dodo treated my family like royalty and were focused on making every single aspect of their experience the very best it could be. My husband and daughters could not have loved it more! Their only regret was not having time left in Spain to book an additional day trip with them. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Tariq and our driver Eduardo made our journey the most pleasant experience. They gave us a lot of information about the history of Gibraltar and beyond. Highly recommended!

Well organized and very enjoyable. Eduardo, our driver walked us across the border to customs, and then Tariq took over for the tour. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Would strongly recommend a tour like this since getting through customs would take a long time with a car, and major limitations with a car rented in Spain. In addition, only the tour guides allowed to drive up the rock. Did have plenty of time to see the monkeys too!

What a day! Johanna picked us up in Malaga at 7am and drove us to Gibraltar. The recommendation to leave early was a great idea. We missed the crowds and had no issues at immigration. Johanna got us into Gibraltar quick and easy. There we met Tariq, a local. He drove us throughout Gibraltar, but most importantly up and around the rock. He was very knowledgeable about the area and especially with the monkeys. They clearly know him and he definitely knows them so we were able to get great pictures. His lunch recommendation was also really good - Bianca’s down in the Marina. When our time in Gibraltar came to an end, Johanna got us back in a timely manner so we were still able to enjoy one last night in Malaga. This is our 3rd excursion with AparTrips. I highly recommend them.

Went on a day trip, was bigger than I expected, so much to see, the trip up the Rock was amazing, grandson enjoyed it,had a picture with the apes, I stayed well back, the mini bus driver very informative and obviously loves Gibraltar.
