This company exists only because there is no rival or competition. Having booked tickets the previous day, we discovered that despite waiting at plaza nueva, it was fifty minutes before a bus arrived with enough space to take us. Then having got us all aboard and on our way I asked at the next stop why there was no commentary and was told it was broken.
The only saving grace of the trip was the driver who was kind and thoughtful to an elderly disabled lady and was very apologetic. We didn’t dare ‘hop off’ once we had a seat for fear of never getting a space to get back to the city centre.
Don’t use this company unless you really have to!

No idea how long stop would be or that you could get on or off no Ryne or reason to stopping for 15 mins at some stops and 1 min at others

The train (if you can call it that) promises an audio guide in Italian with connection via earphones and a panoramic tour of the city, with various stops and the possibility of getting off and on.
So point one: the train is very noisy, dirty and shabby. The Italian Guide did not work, the English version did not synchronize with the monuments or viewpoints. The tour really meager and easily achievable on foot. We took it in the early afternoon of a sunny day, fortunately there were few people, but in other hours we saw an endless queue for this horrible experience...

An interesting way to get in touch with the city but Laurence T's review published earlier was verified: unfriendly and not at all accommodating driver, unpleasant ride (maybe suspensions are to be reviewed) and the place is not guaranteed so ... after 20' waiting, the risk of not being able to get on the train arriving is not zero ... it is obvious that predicting high crowds is not obvious but in this case a smile can fix many things. Since it seems that management reads these comments ....

Bien que nous fassions tout notre possible pour que tous nos clients puissent profiter pleinement de Granada City Tour, il y a parfois une augmentation de la demande à certains arrêts difficile à prévoir dans ce type de service. This was very bad! We reserved tickets on behalf of Tripadvisor for Julia Travel for the hop on hop off train. The train came every 30 minutes with only 2 carriages that were full every time. So we could not ride 1 x and had to take taxis. Asked for our money back via Tripadvisor but they do not do that. And Julia Yravel is the responsible who offers this paid service. So people do not fall for reserving tickets for the Hop on-hop off train in Granada!

I would like to inform you that in this type of service, seats are not guaranteed on each train since it depends on the fluctuation of passengers at the moment.

In Granada you can walk around for hours from one beautiful place to another the city has beautiful buildings in different squares you can eat and drink good. Put on your good walking shoes because you soon walk some kilometers or take the bus . There is something going on everywhere.

We tried to join the train near the top of the Alhambra, but it was full on a busy summer Sunday, so had to walk to the Alhambra entrance stop, where fortunately a couple of people got off, so we could get on. But many other people could not board the train which caused anger and fustration. This paten was repeated at most stops. Also, people were very reluctant to squeeze-up on the 4-person benches, so it was a squashed, uncomfortable ride.
The train trundled off downhill towards the old city. It was a bumpy ride over the cobblestones. The poor driver had to control people getting on at each stop, as well as selling tickets to new guests. The circular route takes about 1.5hrs.
It’s a reasonable way to see the city sights, but not a comfortable journey.

It saddens me to learn that Granada City Tour didn't live up to your expectations,
Even though we strive for all our clients to enjoy our service fully, there are times when the increase in demand is difficult to foresee and this may cause affectations on our trains’ frequency and occupancy. It is specified that a seat is not guaranteed since it depends on the fluctuation of passengers at the moment.

Terrible! Don't waste even a single euro on this shameful ride.... Always stop! Terrible! Every 200 meters at every stop stop under the sun for 20 minutes 😡

Aunque hacemos todo lo posible para que los trenes cumplan con los horarios especificados, es necesario tener en cuenta que éstos pueden verse afectados por razones fuera de nuestro control (como atascos de tráfico u obras en la calzada).

Very disappointing: the bus are very irregular, jack for headphones didn't work well. As the streets are so narrow the view is usually poor. On the steep hill the engine screams (hard to hear commentary) in a low gear and carriage bump and jerk (uncomfortable) - time for electric drive and a better hitch between carriages? Take a walk instead of the excellent public bus service

I would like to inform you that our trains run through some of the narrowest and cobbled streets in the city and this can cause the journey to be somewhat hectic and noisy.

Hi, if we get off the train for an hour at the Alhambra do we just wait at the stop for the next train to pick us up.
Are there lots of trains or just one that does a loop so we need to look at times.

Yes they are every 20 mins- really good value. We hopped on and off for two whole days- and at alhambra- enjoy!!
