Maryla is an experienced, fully knowledgable, and wonderful tour guide for Jewish Granada. I have been to numerous tours here and her intelligence about the Sephardic community is far superior to others. Try to book her as early as you can.

Maryla is such a treasure! She took me all over Granada, from the Realejo to the Albaicin, telling me the compelling story of the Jews in Granada. Her approach is unique in that she focuses not just on the dark chapters of that history, but on the remarkable contributions the Jews made to Spain. She’s so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and she’s a wonderful storyteller. I learned so much from Maryla and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Very comprehensive, well documented by a highly educated guide. Above this, it was a soul encounter, that put a seed of love for this city in our hearts, so we already want to come back. We are grateful for meeting you, Maryla!💖

Granada tour
Maryla gave us an awesome experience of Granada! First off, she was extremely sweet and friendly, with great energy.
She was Interesting and informative, giving us a complete historical overview, and created a perfect balance of a tour that was interesting, entertaining,
and also educational. We got to see many different aspects of Granada, covering;
the history, the entertainment, plaza’s,
and of course the most magnificent views from near the Alhambra palace and also across from it. The 3 hours with her flew by and we loved every minute of it!
She was also super helpful with guiding us and reaching out to her contacts so we could get to see the Flamencos, as well as tour guide in Madrid.

I travelled to andalouzia with the sole objective to rediscover the life of my ancesters centuries ago. I spent 3 hours with Maryla who is just an amazing guide from a historical and archeological perspective with a huge research on the jewish history backing her. This was an amazing tour for me and I am now planning to go back with daugther to show her. These moment with Maryla was the opportunity to rewind centuries of history explained in a very simple manner. Just loved it and thank you so much for making this an amazing rediscovery of my roots.

Maryla was an outstanding tour guide, historian and teacher. We loved this tour so much and it was an especially great way to start our experience in Granada.
Maryla was able to show us places - some small, some big — which were right before our eyes, but that we had no idea their context. She was especially knowledgeable about how all the religions worked alongside each other in all the complexity then and how it still echos. . She blends a passion for culture, religion, history, art and architecture in a very relatable way for my husband and my two daughter 20 and 21.
I cannot more highly recommend Maryla. In fact. I have already recommended her to people who loved her as much as we did. Highly, highly recommend. 10/10.

We had a fantastic 2 days in Granada with Maryla. First our private Jewish Tour, and then our private tour of the Alhambra. Maryla is a conscientious and knowledgeable host who did a wonderful job sharing the rich history of the city. On a personal note, Maryla is sweet, easy to work with, and was incredibly accommodating with respect to our personal interests and needs. Do not hesitate and BOOK WITH MARYLA TODAY!
