Good memory to enjoy Basque region

Tour guide Pascal was superprofessional.very friendly, funny, kind, and proficient in English, which made the tour enjoyable and reassuring.

Driver Chris was also steady in his driving, making the bus journey comfortable and reassuring.

I had a great time learning about the entire Basque region throughout the tour. Basque Country is unique, beautiful, and characteristic.

Me and my mother enjoyed this tour so much whole time, we came all the way from Japan. Highly recommended.

They ruined my holiday

This company ruined my holiday. Only after the cancellation time had passed, they told I was staying in the wrong part of the city and my hotel wasn't expensive enough for them to pick me up, hotel pick up should be included. They said I had to walk 15 minutes to a pick up point, I have a disability that would mean a walk just to get to a pick up point would have ruined the rest of the day. They suggested I call a taxi but I don't speak Spanish and don't have access to a SIM with calls enabled, only Internet, so this wasn't possible. Rather than arrange for the taxi themselves, they argued with me and when I asked them to arrange the taxi for me or refund me, I was left on read. 24 hours later, still nothing. Unless you're rich enough to stay where they expect, I wouldn't bother. I didn't get the tour and they still have my money. Do not recommend

Na een start in Bilbao, (Vliegveld ) 3 weken een gedeelte van de Camino de Santiago gelopen richting Obiedo
Temteratuur: Niet te warm en niet te koud

Drukte: Niet, af en toe een medewandelaar.
Sfeer: We hebben ons geen seconde onveilig gevoeld. Gastvrije mensen die de tijd nemen om de weg te wijzen. (Ook Agenten0
Hostal: tussen 50 en 60 euro een kamer voor twee personen, geboekt met Booking.com zellfs met top kwaliteit.,
Openbaar vervoer: Heel goedkoop vergeleken met Nederland. Online boeken via bv Omion.

Good value Basque Coast tour
My daughter and I went on the Basque Coast Tour and enjoyed it. We visited all the sites mentioned Vizcaya Bridge, Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo, and Gernika via a large comfortable bus, an spent between 15 and 45 minutes at each stop. We had two guides Stefan who primarily spoke Spanish and another guide that mostly spoke English and they took turns providing information. Both guides were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer questions. Good way to get a convenient tour of the local area and some of the key sites. You don’t get a good view of Gaztelugatxe as the viewing point is off the coast road and there is a lot of trees in the way so that might be disappointing to some. Good value for the tour but it might be better if there was a pure English and a Separate Spanish tour as it was difficult going back and forth between Spanish and English. Takes the bus about 30 minutes to pick everyone up and another 30 minutes to drop everyone off at their hotels.

Fantastisch - absolut empfehlenswert!

Eine super interessante, unterhaltsame Tour. Stefan ist der perfekte Guide - ich habe so viel noch über die Basken und ihr Land kennenlernen dürfen. Der Kleinbus war tip top, unser Fahrer umsichtig unterwegs und die angefahrenen Sehenswürdigkeiten allesamt interessant. Wer nur zur einer Städtereise nach Bilbao kommt, sollte diese Tour unbedingt mitbuchen. Geballte Infos in ein paar Stunden - eigentlich viel zu wenig Zeit :-)

Que no os dejen engañar las fotografías que se muestran en la página de reserva de la actividad. Nos ha gustado la excursión, pero creíamos que sería diferente -y eso que considero que somos una pareja que no se entretiene más de la cuenta en los sitios-. Pienso que 65€ es demasiado para lo que hacemos.

Me confirmaron la reserva por email y días después me dijeron que al final no nos recogerían en nuestro hotel, sino que el punto de encuentro sería otro. Tendríamos que coger un taxi, el recibo del viaje, entregárselo al guía y él nos devolvería en efectivo lo que nos habíamos gastado. Y así fue.

Fueron puntuales.

En el minibus cabíamos 28 personas aprox., pero no llenamos todos los asientos. No éramos muchos, así que no supuso ningún problema. Además, el guía estaba siempre con nosotros, así que podíamos preguntar lo que fuera. Stephan (el guía) hablaba tanto en español como en inglés. Pobrecito, qué faenón jajajaja

La primera parada fue en el Puente Colgante de Getxo. Estuvimos 20 minutos. Pensamos que era demasiado tiempo para solamente ver un puente, pero estuvimos los 20 minutos entretenidos viendo cómo la plataforma iba de un lado a otro, las casas de colores… era acogedor y relajante.

La siguiente parada sería el mirador de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, pero el buen y magnífico conductor, Aitor, paró en el Castillo de Butrón en vez de solamente pasar. ¡Gracias! Y menos mal… aunque solamente estuvimos 2 minutos delante del castillo, me hubiera llevado mucha decepción al ver que no nos bajábamos del autobús para esta actividad. Porque pensaba que era una de las paradas.

Ahora sí, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. O como he dicho anteriormente, el mirador. Estuvimos 20 minutos. Y se tardan 10 minutos para ir y 10 más para volver. Con eso lo digo todo. En la foto de la página de reservas sale la ermita de San Juan desde abajo, pero no la veréis así, sino desde lo alto. Nada que ver. Volveré por mi cuenta para subir por las 250 escaleras y verla de más de cerca. Pensaba que vería lo que se ve en la foto de Civitatis, pero no.

Después paramos una hora en Bermeo. Es un pueblecito con puerto en el que se está muy a gusto para desconectar y estar un rato hablando con tu acompañante. Es muy local y mágico. Me gustó.

Y finalmente, pasamos por Mundaka y nos bajamos en Gernika. Visitamos la sala de juntas. Y bueno, nos dieron 15 minutos para observar un árbol.

En definitiva, pienso que no se detalla exactamente en la información lo que se va a hacer y lo que no. Tampoco creo que el tiempo esté gestionado bien.

Stephan y Aitor, lo mejor del tour. Personas amables, apasionadas, implicadas en su trabajo que quieren lo mejor para nosotros. Si hubiera habido otro guía y otro conductor, no hubiera sido igual. Nos contaron chistes, nos explicaron palabras en Euskera, nos enseñaron sobre la historia y los lugares que visitábamos… ¡y Stephan no se calló ni un segundo!

Bastante intensito, pero no lo repetiría. Prefiero pagar un poco más y estar más tiempo en los sitios, que ir corriendo de un lado para otro.

Nos alegramos haya disfrutado de los rincones que ofrece nuestra costa. En el caso de que en un futuro desee visitar San Juan De Gaztelugatxe en su totalidad, por favor tome nota que cada JUEVES realizamos un tour regular en el que ofrecemos 2h de tiempo libre para ascender hasta la ermita y tocar la campana. Lamentablemente, tal y como se indica en el descriptivo, en la opción de los sábados, al tener una duración de 5h, nos resulta imposible realizar el ascenso. Se pretende que el cliente disfrute y vuelva con una visión general de nuestra costa. Esperando volver a recibirle. Reciba un cordial saludo.
