We went on this trip as 4 young women from London (it ended up being a private tour due to low season).
We got taken to 5 pintxo places where we had the most amazing food and wine pairings. We had things that were off menu and so wouldn’t even know to ask for.
Throughout the whole trip we learnt history about the Basque region including the origin of pintxos language, etc.
As a tour guide, Veronica was amazing - she was super knowledgable, friendly and a great laugh - she blended right into the group!
Overall, we would highly recommend this trip and also to do it on your first night in San Sebastián so that you can go back to your favourites the next day!

A friend recommended this walking food tour and i am so glad we decided to do it. Our host, Lide, was so kind and told us lots of facts about basque society/ history. The food was delicious. We would never have tried all these foods without her guidance. Highly recommend this tour while visiting San Sebastián!

Diego was class, explaining the history, persuading us to try the best pintxos, getting the best ones, queuing his ass off to get them and drinks while we just relaxed outside the places, like butler service, top tour guide!

We had a fabulous evening of Pintxo bar hopping with our host, Guillermo. The food was excellent and the wine and cocktail pairings went perfectly with the selected plates. In addition to the benefit of not having to fight the crowds to order at each of the stops, Guillermo provided helpful recommendations on local restaurants, wines and nightlife options for the remainder of our vacation. I would highly recommend this experience for any Pintxo neophytes.

Fantastic. Diego was such a good host. He helped everyone feel comfortable and fostered a wonderful sense of camaraderie in the group. The food and drinks were fantastic and those with food limitations were well taken care of. Such a fun evening. Highly highly recommend.

This was an event we heard and dreamed about for a very long time. We could not wait to experience it first hand. The tour exceeded all our expectations! It was a perfect balance of fun, friendly atmosphere and of course the most delicious food and wine! Our guide Diego was very attentive, doing his best to introduce us to different pintxos at different bars and explaining the pintxos bar hoping etiquette. Diego was able to get us inside his private culinary society. You can tell how proud the Basque people are about their food and wine, the joyous way of life and the beautiful San Sebastian.
This was a very unique authentic experience that will stay with us for a very long time!

Arriving in Basque Country for the first time and speaking neither Spanish nor Basque, I was eager to try pintxos but intimidated by the idea of trying to order them on my own. This tour was the perfect solution. Lide was a wonderful guide, not only to the pintxos experience, but also to the history and culture of the Basque Country. Our group was small so it was easy to navigate the busy streets. We visited 5 bars, each one unique, and tried a selection of 5 pintxos and wines. Everything was delicious and we all had a wonderful time. The experience gave me the confidence to order pintxos on my own during the rest of my stay in Spain.

This was a fabulous tour with Veronica. We did it on our first night and she gave us a wonderful overview of the history and old town of San Sebastian and followed-up with email recommendations for our following days. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Sebastian.

Excellent and fun, very entertaining. We enjoyed the food , wine and the walk around the town. Our guide was fantastic, he educated us on the culture and the relationship to food in San Sebastian

Our guide was great. She was able to help us truly taste what the Basque Area food scene was all about. My wife and I tried to do on our own our first night here and we're completely lost. We are so Happy we did this. Not the mention the friends we made as well! Would recommend
