Dette var en interessant og lærerik tur. Vi fikk oppleve mye som vi ikke hadde gjort på ellers. Passe langt og guiden snakket rolig og forståelig.

We had a great tour with Francisco. There were 8 of us and we all felt that the history and culture lessons, insights from an insider, and tips on pintxos bars were so worth the price. Importantly his anecdotes remain with me. Bring the teens about to take European history in high school- our 14 year old enjoyed it as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon we spent with Fran in the Old Town. We visited San Sebastián for the day and came away from the tour having learned a lot about the history, culture and gastronomy of the city. It’s such an interesting city. He is really relaxed but very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had about the place. Afterwards we enjoyed all his recommendations for pintxo bars in Gros. Highly recommended!

It was a very good tour. I learned a lot about the history, culture, and special food of San Sebastián. Fran is very knowledgeable. And the communication before the tour was good.

We purchased this walking tour through Expedia for 10am. We arrived at the designated old town meeting location at 9:40am and waited. 10am came and went, but Francisco did not show. We called Francisco’s phone number on the listing: +39 347 8507114, but a recording said the number was invalid. We waited another 10 minutes and still no show. We called the number again, but again, the same recording. We then called Expedia, and sat on hold for many minutes while they tried to call Francisco using the same number he provided on the listing. After being on hold for 15 minutes, we hung up, ended up eating at a mediocre restaurant near the meeting location. After that we walked back to our hotel across the river on Paseo Frances. Around noon, Francisco called my cell phone and said he forgot about the tour. He said he worked late the night before, and was willing to do the tour at that time. Since we were scheduled to get on a place that afternoon and did not want to leave without learning something about the town, we agreed and walked back to old town. Ultimately, Francisco had some good information. I just wish he could have been more responsible with our time.

Lived our San Senastian tour with Francisco. He is a relaxed surfer dude that has an interesting outsider perspective to the city. Super knowledgeable and speaks great English after living in Australia and New Zealand. Definitely recommend, even during the Covid times!
