One of the best tours we have ever taken. It was fun, interactive and delicious. Our guide was Ania and we had a blast with her. During 5 hours we visited all the important places in the city and ate a selection of top pinchos. Ania was personable and knowledgeable and all the family felt like we visited an old friend rather than taken a tour. Book Ikusnahi and ask for Ania.

if it's your first time in san sebastian (as it was for our family), make this tour your top priority! it's a great way to see the city and learn about its history. but not only this. there were stories, anecdotes, useful tips and lots lots of laughs. anya was a fabulous hostess and made it a fantastic experience with her knowledge and great conversation. after discovering the city, we went to a variety of high quality pintxos bars where we had lovely local food, wines and cider. anya had an answer to every question and she even sent us an email with bunch of recommendations that made our holidays very special. eskerrik asko anya. you are the best!

I am a regular traveller and always look for experiences that let me get to know the place I am visiting in an authentic, fun, and educational way. The tour with Ania in San Sebastian is one of the best cultural and gastronomic adventures I have ever experienced. I echo the sentiments that are expressed over and over on other reviews: can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was and left feeling the tour like I had a new friend! This tour was a half day visiting by car and walking the major areas of San Sebastian and exploring hidden gems of local pintxos food spots. The experience never felt rushed and truly felt like I was immersed in the city. Ania is incredibly knowledge about everything - the food, the culture, history, art. It was honestly unbelievable her depth of knowledge. She is also incredibly funny and easy to be around. Can't wait for the next time I can visit the Basque to be able to take another adventure with them! Ania also described all the incredible ways they can customize tours to make it truly personalized - I have never seen this level of impeccable customer services when it comes to small group touring.

Excellent half day tour: great introduction to San Sebastián, the city’s history and its highlights and of course delicious pintxos and wine! Dani our tour guide was professional knowledgeable and accommodating. We can highly recommend Ikusnahi Tours!

Our tour with Ernes could not have been better! After traveling to more than 50 countries and taking similar tours in nearly every location, my expectations are quite high and Ernes exceeded every one of them! I cannot say enough about his wonderful approach. We visited a wide variety of sites without ever feeling rushed and tasted the most amazing selection pintxos while learning so much about the history and culture of the region. He was flexible, accommodating our preferences and needs seamlessly, and incredibly entertaining. And the communication before, during, and after the tour was tremendous. It was an unforgettable adventure, and I am so thankful a friend recommended his services. Do not miss a chance to book with Ernes and his company--absolutely outstanding!

Ernes is an amazing private tour guide! He was recommended by my friend who said “This is the best tour guide in San Sebastián” and she was right!
Ernes is a consummate professional, from the communication before-hand, to being early, to thinking of all the details, to an expert curation of places and experiences, and making it all seem effortless! On top of all of that—he is so friendly and warm, making the tour even more enjoyable!
He shared a perfect balance of history of San Sebastián and current culture, as he guided us through beautiful vistas, beloved local icons, the market, and the most delicious sampling of pintxos and drinks. I won’t spoil the surprise of where he took us, but I will say that every bite was heaven! We were having the best of the best, in non-tourist spots. The gourmet food lovers culture of San Sebastián that he shared with us left me wanting more and to stay there longer!
Everywhere we went you could tell that Ernes had amazing relationships, everyone was so happy to see him, and it is clear that he cares so much about how he does things in his business and for his clients.
While we were on the tour, he ran into his clients from the day before and they were so happy to see him, he had been helping them additionally with some planning to continue their amazing vacation. This is just one example of how he goes above and beyond.
The day that we had our tour, there were some traffic closures due to a local bicycle race and Ernes timed it perfectly to take us back to our apartment after the tour and called a taxi for us to get to our next activity on time. The next day, he even looked at our route options to make sure we would be able to depart with no delays.
Ernes also offers help in designing trips, which I would recommend considering. I was a solo-traveler after our tour, and was able to experience his help in determining the next places I could see and stay at.
At the end of the tour, I felt like a close friend and expert had shown us around their beautiful city. He treated us with such caring, authenticity, and kindness, while doing an excellent job of giving us a rich experience of the culture.
If you want a high-level, private experience of San Sebastián, from someone you will want to be friends with after, I highly recommend booking with Ernes!

This was an incredible experience!! We developed a great understanding of the history and found our favorite Pinxtos on this trip. Would highly recommend all of my friends to do this as there are Pinxto bars all around the city. We were full and satisfied by the end. Ania was incredible.

Can, getting to know the city, its architecture, history and traditions, be interesting and not boring at all? Well, difficult, specially if we talk about San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) so beautiful city, that just see it leaves breathless.
When I came to live to San Sebastian in 2006 I was totally impressed by the beauty of this town, however I did not discovered the soul of the city until I experienced the unrivalled city tour with Ikusnahi this summer.
We have been walking around the city with Ania, who explained everything in such amazing and interesting way, natural and very funny at the same time!
She left space for open discussion for you to begin to discover for yourself, in an imperceptible way, that you know the city more deeply, understanding the local culture and people much better.
When I came to live to San Sebastian in 2006 I was totally impressed by the beauty of this town, however I did not discovered the soul of the city until I experienced the unrivalled city tour with Ikusnahi this summer.

Ok. It took me for ever to post it, but I finally have time since I cant go anywhere atm ;(
We have been to San Sebastián in October last year. We took a tour with this almost unpronounceable company and it was so worth it! Ania and Ernes are the best!
It was a very first time for us in Basque Country. Simply, excellent introduction to local culture. We started in gorgeous San Sebastian and it was fantastic.
Our guide Ania took us around the city first in a van (thanks for that because the city has some high hills that we didn't feel like climbing after a long flight) and then walking. Ania not only shares her great knowledge but she is also lots of fun. We enjoyed listening to stories, learning about traditions & eating and drinking. Pintos are small delicious bites San Sebastián is famous for. Basques are so proud of their rich cuisine and now we know why.
After finishing the tour we felt like we know the city are were confident enough to use local transport to explore more and more.

En estos tiempos tan difíciles, Ernes nos ha traspasado con mucha generosidad, su gran conocimiento de Donosti y del país vasco. Tiene pasión por su trabajo y lo que transmite está muy depurado. Recomendable para adultos y niños!! Agradecidos.
