What a time we had with this experience. I am pre-beginner swimmer though my son is good. But the team of Queenie (special thanks to her), Boris and team did a fantastic job.
Queenie pulled this off with me - she was there with me all the way through, literally saved me -:)
We had a great time there with these guys. I would really go back to them.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the experience with this diving center. FACTS:
- I signed up for the Open Water course (3 day) in English. The first day, I discover I am assigned to a group of 3 kids (around 13 year old) who only speak German. I would have appreciated exchanging ideas and opinions with adult companions in English and, most definitely, I would have appreciated being offered the choice of taking the course with kids in a language other than English BEFORE its start
- I received no instructions prior to the course about what to bring, the program for the three days, logistics, etc.
- Two dives are scheduled for the first day, one after the other, just the time to change and set the equipment after the first dive and off we go again. No time for rest or a light lunch. As I am doing this for fun, I do not see the point of putting clients under such stress
- At the end of the day, no debrief is planned to offer feedback or discuss improvements
- Despite having reservations, I decide to return for the second day. I quickly get ready for the first of the two planned dives of the days, I receive a brief about objectives and what will happen only while on the boat cruising toward our destination
At this point, I decided this was not in line with expectations and I decided to quit. Overall the experience is negative given, I would have loved to receive instructions in English, being part of an adult group and not being put under the stress of two consecutive dives. or, at the very least, I would have wanted the decision to be mine.

We did the test diving today (not the one with certificate, but I could not choose this option). What an experience… Great team, perfectly organized and friendly. Enough instructors (speaking lots of languages) to ensure a safe trip for everybody. Big shout out to Queenie who took special care of us today. She speaks fluently german which was great for instructing us how to dive. Also she was very patient and kind. I totally recommend this experience with Skualo!

We had an absolutely amazing time!
The team was a very compassionate and knowledgeable bunch, ensuring we always felt comfortable and excited as we went into something new and far out of our comfort zones.
The experience is something we will never forget and truly awesome, we’re so grateful of the team for organising everything so well to ensure we had the best time possible.
Our main diver, Quenie, was amazing, having fun and looking after us throughout, reflecting her personal interest in sharing her passion for diving by ensuring we had the best time possible. The other instructors were also kind, fun and helpful.
Overall, we were left very happy and could not recommend Skualo enough for people interested in trying something new and unforgettable. Had a great time thanks to the awesome team :)
