No transport system collection point!
Git up super early. Drove to pick up point. 3 coaches there. Spoke yo all drivers and none were for caves excursion. Telephoned tour operator, no reply. Phoned 3rd party tour company that arranged trio and they had no info but have requested a refund. Tried to book tickets for caves independently a d all sold out!! 1😡

The trip was advertised by the agents as an interesting trip which I cannot say it wasnt. However on arrival your were stood waiting in a big que, the coach trip was lenghly as picking other passengers up.on the way. The representative spoke so many langues you had passed most things by the time she got to English, and this went on form 90% of the journey ? I think most people zoned out in the end.
On arrival yu were told there were so many steps, which in purchasing no one mentioned steps steep declines or inclines so for thise with disabilities this trip is a definate challenge and I would say not one to be taken, i suffer osteoarthritis and it challenged me immensley so be advised before booking for this.
The caves themselves were a wonder of the world but felt once in you ushered through the walks ways way too quickly and the members of staff not very welcoming or helpful.
Once you reach the autiorium dont expect to get on a boat dissapointing, you are ushersd up more steps to seating for the classical concert performed by an orchestra in one boat with lights which was also dissapointing as lasted 5-10 minutes.
As soon as that is finished people rush forward to get on the boats which there are only three and the rest of you walk the bridge up a steep climb to exit.
For me a totally dissapointing experience. So please ask when booking of you have physical needs how this will challenge you !

You have to get the tickets online, and that makes access easier and faster. There is food in the surrounding area, if you don't want to bring your sandwich.

A visit to this cave is definitely worthwhile. There is a guided tour almost every hour. You should avoid the weekend, as many locals visit this attraction then. In many places in the long cave you can see breathtaking structures formed by the stalactites. At the end you sit on a grandstand and watch a boat with musicians passing by playing four classical pieces. The acoustics are a really great experience. If you have patience, you will be taken to the exit by boat. Another positive thing to mention is that the prices at the attached snack bar are still moderate. Definitely a recommended trip.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such wonderful feedback. We take pride in being able to offer such a complete package for The Caves of Drach, with it being one of the most famous tourists’ destinations on the island but quite difficult to access without a car or coach!
We at No Frills Excursions prioritise the customer experience over everything which is why we offer to pick up clients in Palma with one of our Guides in order for them to visit the beautiful caves. We are lucky enough to have reserved entry therefor it is guaranteed without waiting in large queues! That way they can enjoy the wonderful experience of walking through the Drach Caves nice and relaxed and watching the short but stunning musical concert on the Lake Martel, we then offer you to cross the lake on the boat, however it is optional - you may continue by foot if you prefer.

We were picked up when we were supposed to be. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us an interesting talk as we went along about the history of Mallorca. He also kept us informed of what was happening and when to be back. We wouldn’t have chosen to go to the Pearl factory but the history was enlightening. We thought the Ham caves were lovely, the stalactites etc were well illuminated & the music and pictures impressive. The Drach caves were also very good and bigger and the live concert very good but we preferred the Ham caves. We also really liked Porto Cristi, very pretty and loads of places to eat.

Too much time one the bus. We could have easily drove to the caves. And the could not find our bus after the cave so after waiting 1/2 an hour we took a taxi.

You are a bit wrong in some of your statements. We will explain some important facts so other travellers are aware.
First of all, clients had about 90minutes at the caves, so there was plenty of time.
Second, we had over 50 customers on the bus. They all managed to be on time except you. All those clients waited over 15 minutes to see if you were coming or could find you. Maybe you have just your point of view, but if you had been one of those clients, will you be happy? Still, despite all this and being your fault, you gave a 1 star review for not being back on time, not listening the guide with the meeting time and had to take a taxi. Well, what can we say?
Last, of course you can rent a car and go directly there. But you also need to have in mind the cost of renting a car, if you are lucky and find one in high season, the amount of time to queue to get tickets, the hassle to drive there, cost of petrol, parking… but you did the choice to book the tour.

Wir haben diese Tour unkompliziert über unser Hotel buchen können.
Die Tour begann mit einer Fahrt kreuz und quer durch Städte (mehrfach zum selben Hôtel bis alle da waren). Der Bus ist so eng das sich Menschen mit 1,79 beim normalen Sitzen schon die Knie anschlagen und so bekommt man ständig in den Rücken getreten.
Der Bus ist bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt (oder eher über voll, denn die Baby muss sogar auf den Schoß genommen werden und es ist trotzdem kein Platz mehr frei.
Abgeholt wurden wir um 08.30h. Der Bus war pünktlich und Sauber.
An der Fahrt gibt es so nichts zu beanstanden.
Die Zeit in Porto Christo konnten wir gut für einen Bummel, ein Eis und unser Mittagessen nutzen.
Allerdings hätte der Stop in einer Perlenfabrik nicht sein müssen. Ich kam mir so vor wie bei einer Verkaufs-Fahrt.
An der Drachenhöhle gab es leider keine Tour. Nur einen QR Code zum Scannen. Außerdem hatte man nach der Besichtigung keine Zeit mehr die sehr schöne Landschaft zu besichtigen oder nochmal einen Moment bei einem Kaffee zu verweilen.
Insgesamt hat das durchsetzen durch die Höhle ca. 1h gedauert.
Von dem 8h Ausflug hatte ich mir definitiv was anderes erhofft, als 1h durch die Attraktion gescheucht zu werden, ohne irgendwelche Infos zu den Sachen die wir uns angeschaut haben.
Due Drachenhöhlen selbst sind aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert gewesen, den ich gerne noch etwas ausgedehnt hätte.
Zu guter Letzt: Wir hatten die Tour auf Deutsch gebucht. Allerdings waren wir (2 Personen) angeblich die einzigen deutschen, Weswegen im Bus die Durchsagen nach Rücksprache mit uns nur auf Englisch, Spanisch und Französisch gemacht wurden. Das war okay aber nicht das was wir gebucht hatten.
Insgesamt würde ich den Ausflug in die Höhle das nächste mal mit einem Mietwagen selbst organisieren. Dann hätte ich mehr davon.

Zu guter Letzt: Wir hatten die Tour auf Deutsch gebucht. Allerdings waren wir (2 Personen) angeblich die einzigen deutschen, Weswegen im Bus die Durchsagen nach Rücksprache mit uns nur auf Englisch, Spanisch und Französisch gemacht wurden. Das war okay aber nicht das was wir gebucht hatten.
Insgesamt würde ich den Ausflug in die Höhle das nächste mal mit einem Mietwagen selbst organisieren. Dann hätte ich mehr davon.

Thank you for your feedback. The size of our coaches is standard size and we are at liberty to sell all the available seats. Babies who have not been paid for are not allocated a seat and this is made clear at the time of booking. Had you bought a child ticket, then you would have had a seat for the baby. This is a shared tour and a set itinerary is followed. It is very clear at the time of booking that we stop at the Majorica Pearl Factory, as this is an important cultural attraction in Mallorca and is advertised in the excursion. If we don't stop there then we don't deliver what we advertise. We are sorry that there were other nationalities onboard and that the guide, therefore, had to speak several languages. We also offer a private tour to the Caves of Drach, which is tailor-made to the client and allows the people to spend as much or as little time as they wish at the caves.
