I have just come back from Fuerteventura and had an outrageous experience at the airport - outgoing.
As we were going through customs they appeared to deliberately separate our 16 year old son from us, unfortunately he walked through the gate first - that won't be happening again! They forced me to take my glasses off (no reason given) so I couldn't see or lipread. They then took my son, who is autistic and dyspraxic, and proceed to search his body and swab him for drugs. They only spoke in Spanish and very quickly so he didn't understand what they wanted him to do. They got very aggressive with him and there was nothing me or his Dad could do about it. They went through my bags and confiscated my just bought face cream on the basis 'it was a liquid' and they were really abrupt and rude about it. Horrible people.
This was a very concerning experience and has left me having nightmares. To be forcibly separated from your child in this way with no support and no control or power to do anything about it is outrageous.
This has eft me with the very distinct impression that it is another one of their (the Spanish) ploys to run us out of holidaying in Spain. Well congratulations, it worked, I won't be coming back and will take my £s elsewhere next time!!

Avoid... Agency that takes its clients for fools! Already still the same confusion with the French debit/credit bank card... While the rental is already paid and collected... we are asked to recover the vehicle to pay a so-called deposit of more than 200 euros (otherwise impossible to have the car...) On return, the employee assures us of reimbursement within two weeks... After more than a month of waiting... request for explanation from Opodo (of which they are partners) which assures us that everything is normal... you have to wait 28 working days. Then at the beginning of January, it turns out that I agreed to pay additional insurance, so no reimbursement... Thieves, scammers, liars whose more than dubious practices Opodo covers.

Absolutely the worst airport I have ever been to. Stood for almost 2 hours to get checked in while the staff were too busy laughing and joking rather than doing their jobs. Everyone in the queue was extremely unhappy. While in the queue it split into 2 rows from the very start until we finally got the the front got turned round and told this queue was for fast track even though people in front of us had all been taken and said they never had fast track. I then had the girl with dark hair and glasses come out from behind the desk and start shouting at all of us left in the queue. I tried to explain as well as others it had been like this from the very start and no one said anything in regards to the lines until now but every time someone would try to explain she would just shout at us, while the girl with ginger hair and glasses on the other desk just laughed at us all. The man that was working came out with the girl with dark her telling us to move, she continued shouting at me to move when I physically couldn’t move as I was trapped and she just continued to shout at me. My self and others explained to the man the situation from the start but he was no help. The girl with dark hair went back to her desk and completely ignored us and a couple of people behind us and pulled people from the back in front of us even though we had been there longer! The couple that she pulled forward said to her that we were all here first and she didn’t care the couple turned round and apologised to us all as they felt so awkward. We wanted to write a complaint but refused to give their first name and the girl with dark hair ended up leaving her desk even though people were still needing checked in. We eventually got checked in by the man and went to security were they were pushing us through which I think is a cheek due to how slow the checking in process was. And by the time we got through security we had to run to catch our flight before we missed it! Extremely upset by the way we were treated I do not appreciate being shouted at and being belittled. I love Fuerteventura and have been travelling here for years but after the way I was treated at the airport it is now putting me off coming back to the place I love.

Booking an airport transfer is way overpriced, £125 to £215 average prices, you can hire a decent middle range 5 seater Hybrid car for the full week for less money.

Airport absolutely terrible, been going over 25 years no issues ever but last trip was an absolute nightmare. Arrived early as normal massive queue through passport control ONE GUY ON his own checking and stamping queue going down slowly final call comes board goes red, Airport worker at front of queue absolutely useless telling people to wait we'll love the plane ain't gonna wait is it so jumped through barriers and went through loads of people behind and a guy in front of me said been like that for months he's a regular so they need to up there game big time COMMUNICATE more and obviously more staff

Compre un viaje con escala en el aeropuerto, llegando sobre a las 22:30 y sobre a las 00:00 el segurata me saco fuera del aeropuerto, llevándome en coche hasta salir de dentro de las instalaciones del aeropuerto y mi vuelo era a las 7:00 mañana , me llevo en una parada de bus en plena carretera y allá me quede casi 8 hrs esperando con mucho frío sin ropa de dormir sin nada , un desastre de viaje, una mala experiencia..
Pienso yo que por hacer una escala en el aeropuerto debería no mínimo un lugar para quien llega por si nos toca hacer una escala ..

Bei Ankunft war niemand Vorort.
Meine Frau wurde am Büro abgewimmelt keinerlei Unterstützung..keine Hilfe.
Eine Dame am Busbahnhof hatte wenigstens versucht zu helfen.
Als ich den Faher von Tuvenfue an der Haltestelle mit dem Auftrag konfrontierte wurde er bedrohlich aggressiv. Wollte nichts von dem Auftrag wissen, meinte es sei ein Subunternehmer (obwohl wir über die offizielle Seite Tuvenfue.com gebucht haben)
Wer also zuviel Geld hat und gerne pokert kann bei diesem unseriösen Anbieter buchen!!!!!
Wir müssten jedenfalls nochmals 103 Euro für ein Taxi investieren.
Daher kann ich nur von TUVENFUE.com warnen.
Leider gibt es die Bewertung 0 Punkte nicht. Das wäre passend.

We paid £167 with TUI for a private transfer,we were told by their rep to join the taxi rank queue and waited over 30 minutes for a cab in the afternoon heat, the metered. cab fare was actually only 45 euros each way so TUI charged more than double. The taxi back would not have been roadworthy in the UK! We have used this service before and have always been met by a driver at arrivals and have never been disappointed so had no reason to book elsewhere but I will in future.
I have brought this to their attention both by phone and in our local shop and have been told that as we got to the hotel they do not see it as a problem even they they never supplied what we paid for. Very disappointed with TUI and will not use this service again.

Can’t recommend highly enough. We arrived early, and they were waiting on us. Waited a good hour on help to get my aunty off airplane as she has mobility issues, but taxi waited no extra charge . Text and phoned to make sure we were alright. And arrived well on time for return journey again keeping in touch

TUVENFUE es una empresa que te gestiona el transfer con Canary Shuttle, y te cobra cuatro veces lo que cuesta. A Jandia cobran 9 euros y TUVENFUE cobra 32 euros.
