It was a very nice tour, only the part at the banana-plantation was a bit unnecessary, because it was just on the parking lot... The rest of the trip was very nice: an excellent guide, good tasting of wine and coffee, nice places to visit. It is worth taking the trip

Would highly recommend

Excellent, knowledgeable guide who spoke English very well. A very interesting day. Being based in Las Palmas, we didn’t know how beautiful and varied it was along the north coast of the island.

We were in places, like Aguete valley which we did not visit on our own because they are hidden gem. Also we got some information about every place visited

Firstly it appears that we paid over $50 on the now advertised price. The driver and guide were great, but that is as far as it goes. You do not visit a winery or a cheese factory, instead you are taken into an empty shopping mall and offered three slim slices of cheese and a thimble full of wine at an extra cost of 7 Euros per person. A complete rip off. The lunch stop is a very beautiful fishing village and you have 45 minutes to have lunch, which basically meant negating with the local restaurants “what can I have so I don’t miss the bus”. Last point, depending where you board the bus, expect to spend up to 30 mins at the beginning and end of the tour picking everyone up across the city of Las Palmas. Really not worth it.

Excellent guide. Well timed visits. The 40 minute cheese and wine tasting was in a sterile modern characterless hall above a food market. Cost €7 and that gave you 6 thin slices of 3 different cheeses and one minimal glass of red or white wine. Best left out of the trip or move it to the excellent coffee plantation in an amazing valley with it's own micro-climate.
Overall then the trip was good value and very enjoyable.

Very enjoyable tour - don’t hesitate to book!

Well organised with a great guide and driver. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the places we visited as well as the history and culture of Gran Canaria.

A successful day trip

The trip was very interesting and informative. The impressions and views were great, the explanations would have been more detailed if we had understood more. It's a shame that the tour is only offered in English, German would have been helpful too. The coffee plantation was a bit disappointing for us. It was more of a sales event for coffee, wine and cosmetics at very high prices. The wine was a bit neglected, it was only available at the cheese tasting. All in all, a very successful day. Firgas is definitely worth seeing.

Amazing tour!!

A great day around the North of Gran Canaria. Very traditional and different from the south of the island. Lovely views, local food, and a super tour guide. The lunch stop view was breathtaking!

Kaffe och vin???

Upplevelserik och intressant utflykt ända fram till det som var dagens huvudattraktion: kaffe och vin. Detta var något man bara lagt till på slutet. Lite hastigt utan någon som helst genomgång. Hade förväntat mig att få prova flera sorters kaffe och att man pratade om det. Men det var som en vanlig kaffepaus. Vin fick vi av flera sorter men inte heller det med någon genomgång.
Fick före lunchen veta att vi inte behövde äta så mycket eftersom vi skulle få mycket tilltugg till kaffe och vin. Men så var det inte alls.
