I joined this tour with my friend. It was a small group of 4 people in total so it was more comfortable compared to big tours. We really enjoyed all the stops, in particular Teror. Simon have a lot of interesting information about the culture and history of the island. A tip from me is to bring nausea medicine if you suspect you may have car sickness since the mountain roads have a lot of curves. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to see cute Canarian towns and try local food!

The trip was fabulous, just a small group in a minibus and Simon was very informative, took us places where you wouldn’t probably go without a guide and a nice tapas lunch, highly recommend

Wir müssen ehrlich sagen das wir als Paar super enttäuscht von der Tour sind. Auch das andere Paar das mit uns unterwegs war wirkte nicht wirklich begeistert von der Tour. Man hat viel gesehen, aber der „professionelle Tourguide“ Simon ist nicht aufgetaucht an dem Tag. Stattdessen wurde er von einem Mann ersetzt der seit 10 Monaten auf Gran Canaria lebt. Er hat wirklich sein bestes gegeben, aber viel über Gran Canaria haben wir nicht erfahren. Wir wurden nur von Standort zu Standort gefahren und waren sehr enttäuscht, da wir gerne mehr über Gran Canaria erfahren hätten. Am liebsten hätten wir ein Teil unseres Geldes zurück, da wir für einen professionellen Tourguide bezahlt haben und relativ leer an diesem Tag ausgingen..
Das Mittagessen war auch sehr enttäuschend..
Wir hätten es schön gefunden wenn Simon ehrlich gewesen wäre, das er nicht kommen kann und die Tour abgesagt hätte. Denn so war es mehr eine Taxifahrt zu den verschiedenen „Highlights“ als eine informative Reise..und daher keine 75€ wert.. Hier wird eindeutig mehr darauf geachtet Geld zu machen, also den eigenen Kunden zu frieden zu stellen & versprochenen Leistungen einzuhalten.

I joined Simon on his tour of the island today! From the moment you are picked up from your hotel, Simon shares his knowledge of the island. His knowledge and adaptability to language barriers was no trouble to him. Switching from one language to the other. Each time if he shared information in one language and went off script, he would translate so you knew what the conversation was about. We went to some amazing locations where photographs don’t do the view justice. Totally breath taking. We then tried the Canaria coffee in a little village. Before moving on to some tapas and a drink. Then for some rum tasting! Then a walk around the old town of Las Palmas. I have been to Gran Canaria many times and this is the first time taking a trip like this. If you have any doubts, book it! You really won’t be disappointed. Simon was an awesome guide and what he doesn’t know, really isn’t worth knowing! Thank you for an amazing day Simon!

A great all encompassing tour of the island. Simon is an expert and shares much of the islands geology and history. You see a great variety and learn much. Very good

Simon is very cool, he has a lot of energy. You can feel by his vibes that he is really passionate. The visit was good and and we’ve learned a lot of history.
There are no silent moments, the guide always have things to learn to you.
We’ve seen a lot of diferent wonderful landscapes.

We had a fabulous day with Simon as our guide. 12 of us on the mini bus and Simon never stopped talking all day!😂 He was extremely informative, funny and passionate about the Island! Loved it! Many stops( all with loos), but didn't feel rushed. Delicious food to taste too. Highly recommend!!

This is a brilliant trip suggested to us by Tobias at Discovery Tours in Puerto Mogan. We had a wonderful time seeing the interior of Gran Canaria, the viewpoints, charming towns and other delights, without the stress of driving the switchbacks or worrying about running over the many cyclists. Uwe Aha, our tour guide was knowledgeable and full of entertaining anecdotes, a comedian of sorts really!
Loved it and all three of us would highly recommend it, jolly and well worth it!

One of the BEST tours we have ever taken! Simon and our driver Itor were awesome. So many stops, so much history and information. We loved every minute of the day. From Pico de Las Nieves to Las Palmas Old Town, it was amazing. Plus we were able to see the Dunes as well. Definitely a jam packed day 9 hours but so worth it for the GREAT price. Lunch was AMAZING. So much fun, definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

Hi, do you have a spot for this Saturday, 4th of June . I have already booked but I have received an email saying that it was overbooked and was asked to cancel or re-book for next weekend. Unfortunately I won’t be here next weekend. What was the criteria of cancelling ? I’d really appreciate if you let me know if you get any cancellations as I really wanted to go on the tour. I am also flexible and can come to a certain location , so don’t mind if I’m not being picked up from my hotel. Pls do get in touch if anything… would really love to go on the tour as I couldn’t find availability for any other similar tours. My Number is 07808856126,
