Een fantastische excursie. Veel uitleg over de verschillende walvissen en dolfijnen. Enthousiaste gidsen John en Maria maakten de tocht compleet. Omdat John het idee kreeg dat verderop nog dolfijnen zaten, werd zonder probleem de tocht met een half uur verlengd om ons de maximale beleving te geven!

This has been one of the highlights of our trip to Tenerife. Maria and John are very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeble, so you don't only get to watch some extraordinary animals in their natural habitat, but also learn a lot about then.
We got very lycky (apparently) and saw 3 species in our 2 hours tour - pilot whales (with a very inqusitive youngster paying us a close visit before being dragged away by his mother), bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins (which were a blast to be around!).
Overall, an incredible experience you don't want to miss if you're in Tenerife. Thanks Maria and John!

Many, many thanks to John and Moony for making this trip the stand-out highlight of our holiday in Tenerife. Not only did we see lots of pilot whales, but the friendly and knowledgable information given during the whole tour made this trip a real delight. This is no cram, everyone on a boat, and get them there and back as quick as we can tour. It is a well run professional outfit, one of the few that is certified by the government and they take great care not to chase the wildlife. This is the best outfit for whale watching on the island and we will be returning again.

We really enjoyed this trip. No snorkeling or snacks at this organization, but all attention to the animals. Expert explanation from John and Moony. We saw dozens of pilot whales, in different places, in groups of 4 to 7. The handlers have great respect for the animals. The boat trip was very nice. The supervisors also paid a lot of attention to the people who were not used to being in a boat, so that everyone felt very comfortable. Afterwards we got the pictures Moony had taken during the tour. Highly recommended. Ronny and Monique

We had a wonderful time on this trip. We saw two kinds of whales, beaked whales and pilot whales (several times). Our guide John was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the animals, their habits and diet. All in all a great time.

A truly special trip. John and Moony were fantastic guides and their enthusiasm for the environment and the wildlife was apparent. I know there are alternative, bigger boat trips, but I seriously recommend you to skip over these and go with Whale Watch Tenerife. You’ll get a truly unique experience.
On our guide, we initially saw pilot whales and Moony talked us through the matriarchal structure. We got to ride side by side with a pod, with juveniles, mother and even grand mother.
Then John got news of two visiting species: spotted dolphin and common dolphin so he rerouted us to go and see them. The spotted dolphins were amazing, very inquisitive creatures. They love to race alongside the boar so John did a little bit of a race, much to the excitement of the dolphins and ourselves!
Thank you both - really wonderful experience.

Very nice tour where respect for animals is central and John tells the captain and biologist a lot of interesting things. We have seen beautiful groups of whales and spotted dolphins!

The tour was such a great experience, we were able to watch oceanic dolphins and pilot whales from amazingly close and with such consideration for the animals. Our guides took the best care of us and explained a lot. After we got high quality pictures of our tour which are included in the fee. Also its a small group of max 11 people which makes the experience more personal. Highly recommended! 🤗

The boat is fast, but not a speedboat. It is large enough to fit around 10–12 people. There is no problem seeing dolphins and pilot whales as there are plenty around.
A speedboat would frighten them away, so is not a good idea! I would recommend this company over the others with very large boats that often harass the wildlife.
