Ein großartiger Ausflug in die Berge von Montserrat. Wir hatten die Tour mit der Zahnradbahn auf den Berg. Eine Auffahrt die begeistert. Man kann verstehen das dieser Ort den Katalanen heilig ist.
Auf der Hinfahrt von Barcelona hat Tobi unser Guide einen Blick auf die Geschichte von Katalonien und Spanien gegeben. Dieser Rückblick war sehr informativ und gut um später auch die Bedeutung von Montserrat zu verstehen. Die Guides auf der Tour sind sehr sehr gut und verbreiten Spaß und geben immer Informationen. Das Kloster ist fantastisch und ich bin mir sicher wir werden nochmal hierher kommen. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus runter zum Weingut ist ein weiteres Highlight. Auf der Tour gibt es weitere Informationen von unseren drei tollen Guides. Mariana, Gus und unser Gruppenguide Tobi. Auf dem Weingut dann Tapas und drei Weine zum testen. Mariana ist nicht nur Guide sondern auch Fachfrau für Weine. So macht eine Weinprobe Spaß. Man muss nur wissen, auf so einer Tour sind die Zeitpunkte getacktet. Wer mehr Zeit für das Kloster haben möchte muss eine andere Tour wählen. Wir haben diesen Tagesausflug aus der Metropole Barcelona ins Umland sehr genossen. Daher fünf Daumen hoch. 👍👍👍👍👍

Awesome day in Montserrat

Guille was amazing - she made this tour unforgettable. She delivered the perfect amount of information to help me get the most of our my day, and knew exactly what the group wanted and needed in terms of logistics and ideas. Without Guille I would have wasted time and felt like I missed out on seeing the highlights (views, choir, tastings!). The wine tour and tapas was good - learnt a lot about natural wines. Thanks again Guille!

Great day on this tour. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way, tour guides did an amazing job, the monastery was lovely with interesting history. Views were amazing. Wine tasting and tapas was great. It was a fun day with our guide Vito. She was a joy!

A wonderfully unique experience!

Marcel was amazing! He spoke English very well so the experience was way more enjoyable because we could listen and understand the history of Catalonia, and Montserrat. He was very knowledgeable on all the subjects and questions that we asked of him. The winery was beautiful and was a unique experience being able to drink inside a historic Castle! All in all would definitely recommend! The only downside was the employee at the Winery serving the wine was a tad rude to some other guests on our tour when they asked for their second glass of wine and the server did not believe them that they had not received it and made a bigger scene than needed.

Amazing Tour !
This tour was absolutely amazing. Marcel was our tour guide. He was awesome, and he even entertained the kids and included them in the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Montserrat. The Cogwheel Train was a great experience and the view was beautiful. Marcel made sure all had a great time. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. 5 out of 5 for sure.

Great tour to Montserrat, monestry and wine tasting and tapas

I had an amazing time on this tour. Fran our tour guide was brilliant, friendly and very polite and informative. She told us stories and took us to the basilica and then onto the wine tasting and tapas lunch. She was so kind to take photos and send us them along with information about things to do in Barcelona.
This tour offers just the right amount of time to see the basilica at Montserrat and walk up to the viewpoint and sample some liqueur and sweet bread made by the monks from the monestry.
I would definitely recommend :)

Great tour, friendly guides and a great way to meet people

This was such a wonderful tour! Vito was my guide and she was so welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m not very religious, but it was incredible to see the basilica and learn more about Montserrat. Even the brief history of Barcelona they gave us on the bus was fantastic. It could not have been a more beautiful day for the tour too. I was by myself but I asked Vito if she could take a few pictures of me. She could be a part time photographer! Lol! I started to go to Saint Michael’s crosses but the path is a decent incline and I got a bit winded. The winery was so cool. The room our tapas and tasting was in looked straight out of a movie! Overall, it was a great day. I did this the first day of my trip and made friends with some people I hung out with during my whole stay!
