Had an amazing experience thanks to Pere! Better than I ever planned! I really wanted to hike St Jeroni but was hesitant to do it solo. I am so glad I found Pere. He took the time to get to know me, and when he learned I was a hiker, he suggested a different route. He mapped out my options and made me choose. I chose the one he had recommended and I was so glad! We started from Ermita de St Cecilia. It was definitely challenging and also one of the best hikes I've done. He made sure I was safe. He took several pictures of me! We ended in the monastery and he shared a lot of information. We even heard the boys choir! Do not hesitate to book. He is so skilled and knowledgeable, he will personalize your experience to fit your needs and wants!

Pere was a joy to be with. Being a solo traveller and adventurer I was worried about the alone time for hours - but Pere is a joy to be around, full of knowledge, culture and experience!
The hike itself, we took the intermediate route (I think in total it took us around 3 hours up and down) - Pere then showed me around the monastery area and the church etc. Equipping me with tonnes of knowledge about the legends of Catalonia etc.
In terms of challenge - I would say if you are a complete novice, the route we took may be a challenge for you. However, Pere will provide you with multiple options!

Peter is a man of many talents. Not only is he a full fledged mountain guide, he is a photographer, a story teller, a historian and an overall nice guy. Our Monserrat hike wouldn't have been the same without his knowledge and energy. He managed to keep our active teenagers engaged without pushing us too hard. It was a memorable experience and the photos he took were incredible. Don't hesitate to book him for your next adventure!

Le guide es venu me chercher a l'hôtel, belle expérience,il nous propose des circuits différents selon notre niveau, tous es bien expliquer, ensuite la randonnée commence, magnifique parcours,avec de l'entraide,des explications,des légendes....très belle randonnée recommandé

Peter/Pere is amazing! He loves what he does! He was an incredible guide.. telling us stories and info on the drive up to Montserrat. And he knows Montserrat and all the trails like the back of his hand. At the start of the hike, he gave us lots of options and let us decide.. and even took my kids and husband on another peak (that was too difficult for me).. but ended up being the favorite part of our kids' experience. And we just opened up all the photos he took of us throughout the day! What a memory keeper! It was like having a professional photographer to capture the day! If you are looking for a guide for Montserrat, Peter/Pere is your guide! Just do it! You will be happy you did!

Wow, what an adventure! Pera took us on a hike with hidden gems, wonderful legends about Monserrat, took beautiful pictures of us, was very knowledgeable and safe! I am thankful for this amazing trip- couldn’t have been better!

Excellente journée de découverte et de randonnée passée en compagnie de notre guide Père. Une grande maitrise du Français malgré sa modestie ! Il a su nous transmettre sa passion pour l'histoire du site de Montserrat, de sa géologie et de ses légendes. Guide très attentionné et à l'écoute de son groupe (Photos, petite collation au sommet...)

Hiking Montserrat with Peter was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. We are a family with 3 boys (2 teenagers and a younger child) and Peter kept us engaged with his knowledge of the area and interesting stories. The hike was challenging and incredible. Not only did Peter act as tour guide, he was the photographer as well, taking breathtaking photos of our family and the scenery on his fancy camera which he e-mailed to us a few days later. He also provided us with delicious, healthy snacks when we reached the summit. Thank you Peter, we can't wait to return to Spain and book another tour with you !

Peter was a fantastic guide leading us carefully through challenging terrain and customizing the hike with excellent insights. He highlighted the amazing views with a superior knowledge of local history and lore with fun and a great sense of humor. The views and company could not have been better!

How long and how difficult is level 5 hiking tour?

If you’re going with Pere’ he can customize your climb up the hundreds of stairs (the toughest part of the hike) and then once you start traversing across the mountains it is beautiful and easy. The climb down the mountain face was too difficult for me after 4 hours of hiking so he took me to the furnicular and then continued down with my daughter and two other guests, for the 1.45-2 hour climb down the rock face. Pere’ is the best and will take you at your pace! It is so worth the energy and muscle to do it!!
