I really loved that tour! Vangelis makes it even better!! He make us understand so clearly everything he was talking about and at the same time showing us around with the most clever and creative way! He even read us a poem and spoke us about popular artists on the time of Spanish civil war like Hemingway… I am really impressed from this tour! Me and my boyfriend enjoyed it so much it was 2 hours but we never get bored or tired!! Thank you Vangelis again!!

Evan was an excellent tour guide, very kind and engaging and clearly had great knowledge on the history of Barcelona. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about the history of the city in an easy to understand way.

We were only four guests - 2 Danes, 1 Austrian and one from Columbia and a guide from Greece.
It was a good and educational walk around the streets of Barcelona. Our guide Chrisa was sweet, very knowledgeable and very listening.

Excellent walking tour. Very engaging and knowledgeable guide. To be honest I was dragged by my friends to this tour because I wasn't that interested to Spanish Civil War, but Onno's narration pf the events made the tour actually quite interesting and captivating.

Yannis is really nice, funny and has a lot of interesting facts that you would miss without the tour. He has studied history in Barcelona and therefore knows a lot about its history. He explains very well and it is exciting to follow.

The Spanish Civil War Tour with Yannis was fantastic. A detailed look at the modern history of Spain with fascinating tie-in's to Barcelona and many sightings and historic spots I never would have seen otherwise. Can't recommend it enough.

Such a knowledgeable guide. Learnt lots. We all hung on his every word. And he made it relevant to what is going on in the world today. I would definitely recommend. Food for thought.

We learnt so much from Yannis on this walking tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and able to convey a really complex period in history in a concise and respectful way, linking the lessons of history to the current political climate so that we can do our part not to let history repeat. An essential tour to any visitor to Barcelona!
