Knowledgeable and friendly guide braving the elements!
Our guide was super helpful and managed to hold us and the tour together in driving rain - no easy feat! Learned heaps about Santiago de Compostela and the Camino, and enjoyed the experience. Great way to get orientated to the city, highly recommended.

Better meeting point description needed.

Meeting place on Trip Advisor portal needs greater specificity. It simply says “Praza do Obraidoro”. That plaza in front of the Santiago Cathedral is huge!

It was raining, there were other tours, some were starting across the plaza where there is a covered gallery of a government building.

I suggest something like: “Meet your Optimus Travel guide (carrying an orange umbrella) in front of the Catedral Museum door in Praza do Obraidoro”

The tour itself was terrific!

Casco antiguo precioso. Con Civitatis una excursion muy interesante de 2 horas y sin aburrirte.
Comimos en FUEGO LENTO. No es barato pero muy rico todo.

Chiarire il prezzo
Molto bella la visita. Da fare per comprendere la bellezza e le particolarità della città. La nostra guida era molto preparata e simpatica. Ha dato anche suggerimenti per culinaria e acquisti. L’unica cosa è il prezzo. Qui è scritto che si pagava 1€ però lei iniziando ha ribadito che la visita era “gratuita” ma con il prezzo consigliato, non obbligatorio, di 10€. La visita lì vale tutti ma sarebbe stato più corretto saperlo già in fase di prenotazione.

Good informartive tour.

Very interesting. The tour leader (Incitio ?) told a lot about the history of Santiago de Compostela and the beginning of the pelgrimages.

Wonderful history .
The old town is beautiful. Our tour guide shared the wonderful history of the city and cathedral. The view from the park near the end was wonderful.

Camino
Nice old town but very busy in high season. Great restaurants nearby. We took the train tour around town. Was very disappointed as we spent ages around the University which was boring. Not enough history on the town.

Would highly recommend
Adrian was really lovely and informative and we really enjoyed the tour. There was lots to see around the Old Town and Cathedral and then we walked to where the market was
