Amazing experience! The guide, Tommy, takes you to to great places and provides _a lot_ of information. He even can recognize and know the names of the monkeys! (Yes, each one of the ~300 monkeys has names)
The tour takes +2h, but it was impressive how the time flew fast, as Tommy was explaining lots of things during the visit — the history, the people, the relationship with Spain, the lives of people who are residents or just go to work everyday (eg: how Gibraltar gets its water and energy, the lack of space for new apartments for the youths and how they reclaim land to handle that, the impacts of Brexit, the school system, etc). Really, you’ll get tons of information during your tour!!

We rented a car from Málaga Airport and drove to the border of Gibraltar. It’s better to take the normal road because it saves you €40 round-trip in toll fees and better views. It was very easy to park the car near the border (free parking on Sunday) and walk across the border, where Tommy was awaiting us. It was less busy on a Sunday, we didn’t mind that the shops were closed. Tommy grew up in Gibraltar (3rd generation) and knew alot about Gibraltar and the rock. He was very patient and we didn’t feel rushed. We highly recommend Tommy.

Paul was a professional tour guide who got us up to the sites quickly! We were able to hear him and his English was very easy for us to understand. Paul was very knowledgeable about the history and his country. He was always parked in a good spot and waiting for us after we visited each site. The Cave and the monkeys/apes were both amazing! (But beware of the monkeys- don’t touch or pet them…. They bite!) Our tour was the perfect length. Paul dropped us off in the shopping and restaurant area so we were able to enjoy the area too.

We would highly recommend this tour . Our guide Tommy was not only an expert on the geography of the Rock but was very knowledgeable and informative about all the social, political, economic,and religious aspects of the Rock

What a fabulous tour we had with Tommy. We found out that Tommy has grown up in Gibraltar and gave us an awesome time with his experience, knowledge and wonderful humour! In a short few hours we learned a great deal about Gibraltar, history and current state of growth. We were so glad we took this tour and also want to give Tommy 5* for his service and making this an incredible memory for us! Rob, Heidi, John and Gini all from Canada!

We had a wonderful time going around Gibraltar. Tommy (The tour guide) was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about Gibraltar. He told us about his real life experiences and what its like to live there. Highly recommended.

Taking this tour was the highlight of our Spain/France trip! When someone asks about our European vacation, we start by talking about this tour! Tommy was such a wonderful guide! For those curious - he speaks English, as does everyone there, since Gibraltar is a British territory. He was very knowledgeable and the tour was easy-going. He texted us where to park and met us at the border. Don’t forget your passport. We spent the day sightseeing and, of course, hanging with the monkeys. We booked this last minute (the day before) and for something spur of the moment, it paid off! We brought my 5 year old daughter. Tommy was great with her. The tour is great for kids and adults. Overall, it was best experience. Well worth the money. All I can say is, do it! You won’t regret it. Well worth the money!! We talk about taking other family members to Spain just for this tour.

very nice tour guide. accommodating. historical knowledge. well mannered. we booked the night before . started at 9 and were done by 11.30.

Trip arranged easily in town near tourist info, arranged to come back after getting some food. Car was ready and off we went. We had planned to cycle up as we had been around the rest of the rock but glad we did not as roads narrow and steep and many tours going up and down. Plus you may get a monkey backpack! Small group of 6 from different countries. Great guy Tommy gave plenty of interesting info without it sounding rehearsed. Highly recommended
