    Great way to see highlights of Avila and Segovia!

    Highly recommend this tour! I was solo for a day in Madrid and was a perfect way to
    Experience and see both Avila and Segovia. The bus was comfortable, the departure and return seamless and meeting places very clear. Beatrice was a highly knowledgeable tour guide and made the walking tours interesting, not rushed and enjoyable. I had not purchased monument tickets when I booked, but she and the company made it easy to add on that day (was my mistake but simple to do!)

    Worthy trip with the right guide

    Guide’s English was not strong. It was hard to understand. Did not enjoy as much as other trips. Need a more knowledgeable guide to make the trip more worthwhile.

    Well Rounded Day Trip

    Avila and Segovia make a very well rounded day trip from Madrid with lots to see. When I booked on TripAdvisor it wasn't possible to include site entries in the ticket price, but dont worry, you can pay an extra $26 the day of the tour to add site entrances which I would recommend as they were all incredibly interesting. The English group guide, Beatrice, did a fantastic job providing information about the sites and keeping the group's energy up in the nearly 100°F (38°C) heat.

    Excellent tour, the only thing the bus was a little narrow! And the tour should be with seat selection, thus avoiding problems and preventing couples from being seated apart!

    5 star views and amazing history

    This is a must do trip. The Roman aqueducts, architecture, churches, and castle were amazing. Our guide, Beatriz, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The views were stunning. There was a lot of walking on uneven rock roads and stairs so it is not easy for strollers or elderly.

    Easy Day Trip!
    Very great put together tour and made it so easy to see two places near Madrid! The bus ride was pleasant and the guides were great. We were able to have a bit of free time, but not too much that we had to walk around by ourselves.

    Excellent crew

    Wonderful crew, driver, guides, local guides etc. My only regret was that time did not permit us to eat at Avila. We did not tour any of the buildings, but the walking tour was well worth the trip.
