Felicity is a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. This was the second time I joined one of her tours, but it won't be the last. Highly recommendable!

If you are looking for a fun, off the beaten track tour in Madrid, packed with interesting data and factoids, that's the perfect experience for you! Felicity is a pleasure to be with, knowledgeable, witty. I have learned so much about the Moorish influence in the capital of Spain. Highly recommended!

Great Tour. I have been living in Madrid for many years and didn’t know most of the things Felicity explained and showed us. Great group also, nice way to meet new people and I enjoyed the drinks after the tour.

Felicity is good at what she is doing. She spent loads of time on researching and gathering information. The tour is fantastic and full of interesting information. Highly recommended.

Great Tour! Felicity has a great series of anecdotes about Madrid, and ties it all together nicely with some broader historical context...well worth it, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone who'd like to know Madrid, but may be wary of the usual "tourist-trap" tours. Top notch!

Felicity's tour about Madrid's (lesser-known) Moorish history was one of the best walking tours I've ever had, anywhere. I learned so much about a part of Spanish history I am fascinated by, with a Madrid specific twist. Andalucía, Toledo, etc are known for Moorish history, but finding it right in Madrid is not as accessible. Felicity opened my eyes to it in my own Madrid backyard.

I've had the pleasure of going on a few of Felicity's tours around Madrid, and I'm happy to say they aren't the typical surface-level overviews of an entire city, country, and culture. Instead, Felicity will take you to a specific neighborhood and tell you everything about its history, pointing out fascinating sites and hidden jewels along the way - case in point, her Lavapiés or Malasaña tours. Or she will delve into a very specific group of people that was part of creating Spain's culture, like her Muslim tour of Madrid. She has done her research, but her tours are not boring and professorial but rather engaging, thanks to her relatable way of interacting with her guests. Highly recommended for people who want to go beyond the "palace, plaza, paella" tour.

When going on a tour with "Making of Madrid', it felt like a much deeper dive into the area. Felicity has acquired profound knowledge of the topic as the also publishes in her blog about Madrid. it was a pleasure to hear about history and its link to present times in a friendly atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the many anecdotes and would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to see more than the usual sights of the city.

I have been on several of Felicity's tours. She is always highly knowledgeable about where she takes you. The tours are really enjoyable and they take about 1.5 hours and are usually rounded off with a drink and tapas. I highly recommend her tours.
