We'd been on this outing several times before and so we've tended to compare it with past experiences. Our early trips were with the two guys who'd set up the business and their enthusiasm and customer service was top rate. It now seems that this is part of a larger business and it seems to have lost some of its sparkle. We got the impression that we were being looked after by employees of a business, good though they might be, rather than the experience we'd had previously.
Our outing had issues with the van and the weather. None of these, obviously, caused by Kris and Tony who were our guides for the day. Early on, the weather on the top of the mountain wasn't good and so we set off in a different area to usual. This was exacerbated when the van got a pucture. We were in the wrong place and although a plan was quickly hatched to keep us cycling it involved cycling for a longer time and through several "not down" areas, some quite steep and quite a length along a main road. This nearly proved too much for me.
During this time also, whilst the van tyre was being changed, we were without a rear safety guard and at times the two of us at the rear couldn't see the rest of the group. Had we had an accident or cycled off the road no-one would have known where we were. I realise this came about due to unusual circumstances but for a while we felt unsafe.
The van was eventually repaired and did catch us up and things returned to normal. If I remember correctly from previous rides the van actually drove close at the rear of the group all the time for safety. Even when we were running normally on this tour the van would often be out of sight behind us.
We had our lunch at the Safari Park, that was OK. Unfortunately soon after we started our afternoon our ride was cut short by heavy rain.
Perhaps ours was not your normal outing and if you've not been Downhill Biking before I would recommend that you give it a try. On a sunny day with no mishaps it can be great. I have given it 4 stars for its potential to be good.

As two seniors who aren't confident about cycling other than on cycle lanes and disused railway lines in the UK we were thrilled to find this activity that we could do at our level. Kris and Adam were our guides and were really good company: informative and attentive. While the younger group members were happy to forge ahead, we made sure of our brakes and took a steady pace with several stops for photos. Kris and Adam genuinely wanted us all to enjoy the day. The itinerary is as scenic as could be, the pace is easygoing, the road surfaces are all very good. If, like us, you are never going to cycle up to the top of the Aitana peaks but love the idea of the easy downhill slopes then I cannot recommend this activity highly enough. We definitely hope to repeat the experience.

WOW, this experience ticked all the boxes, it was everything and more than what we expected. A really great day spent in the company of other great guests, and fabulous guides. My wife and I really have nothing but praise for every aspect of this downhill cycle excursion. Thank you so much Kriss and Adam for being such excellent hosts. We can't wait to repeat this experience in the future. Anyone thinking of going will not be disappointed!!

Wow, what value for money this is, you get picked up & dropped off right outside your hotel & then taken to choose your bike. The day before I realised it could be cold in the mountains so I went out & bought some joggers & gloves. I needn’t of bothered, they had a tub of fleeced & gloves you could dive in & borrow.
The pick up was absolutely on time, despite Tony having several others to do around Benidorm, he then took our bikes on the trailer to the mountains where we were given precise instructions on the plan. We had a great time, it’s downhill as the name suggests so stress free riding, anyone can do it & there’s absolutely no pressure on you to go faster or slower, I was solo as were 2 others together with 2 couples, everyone rode at their own pace and we had a car in front to follow and a van behind to give support. I had a puncture on my bike, not a problem, the van was minutes behind me with a spare bike.
Adam & Tony are a couple of real nice guys who both live in the villages & know the area and all its history which came in handy when we stopped for some spectacular scenery views.
A nice stop at a lovely restaurant, very reasonable prices for lunch if you don’t take your own & a nice bar at the end of the ride to all have a chat & receive our certificates.
I honestly can’t praise this business enough, 2 hard working guys who deserve all the success & at under €40 for a day out with door to door service they really are under charging.
Thanks for the day, it’s ticked off the bucket list & transferred to the memory banks as one to remember

Got to be one of the most worthwhile cycling rides you can do.Tony and Adam make the day go with a swing with their lighthearted humor. There knowledge of this mountainous region is second to none.Downhill bike Ride is the perfect name,believe me there are no uphill bits.Old Spanish village charm ,views of mountains Ranges,valleys old Spanish ruins.Loved every minute of this downhill bike tour.Just a massive thrill to be on this perfect day.Thankyou Tony and Adam.OH Did I forget even got to see Elephants.Giraffs,Tigers,Camels.Brilliant dayout.

What a fantastic experience, so exhilarating. Riding down the mountains through breathtaking scenery. We stopped in a small mountain village for lunch. Our guide, Kris, was brilliant. She was informative, good company and very safety aware. I immediately want to do it again. Highly recommended

From Collection from our Hotel to drop of back after your Downhill Bike Ride , Kris and Adam guide you, through sizing bikes, helmets and gloves, through the safety briefs, through talks about the area you are riding through, nothing is too much. Second time we have done this and we will come back for another ride next year, see you next year. Thank you.

My husband and I booked this before flying out to Benidorm, and I am so glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip.
We were picked up at our hotel on time and without issue. From there, we were driven to collect the bikes and another guide before being taken up to the start point. It was winter, so a little chilly to start, but the guides were well prepared with extra layers and gloves for us. After a quick safety brief, we were on our way. It really is all downhill, and the views are spectacular. Both guides (Kris and Adam) were great at providing information about the local towns we passed through and what we were looking at when we stopped to admire the beautiful scenery. There are lots of opportunities for photos.
At the end, we stopped off for some food in a lovely restaurant with a beitifyl view, great food, and good company.

I was in benidorm for the 10k race so was looking for something to break up trip but not to hard on the legs. This was perfect. From start to finish the trip was so well organised. We loved the scenery. The information and even stopped for some lunch and then sangria at end. Definitely a trip to do..my only complaint was it was freezing and I would wait and do in summer so I could top up my tan but the weather is unfortunately out with the control of the organisers. We all loved. Thank you.

I had a brilliant time. I hadn't cycled in 20 years and was quite nervous beforehand but once we got started it was great! It's a fantastic route that gives you the opportunity to see the Spanish countryside. It was an easy downhill cycle even for someone that hasn't been on a bike in years. I would definitely recommend this activity.

Hello we met him at a local restaurant near the ride. However they are very accommodating and believe they pick you up from your accommodation. Best thing is to just give him a call or WhatsApp. It is honestly a great day out.

My friend rides his cycle regularly but I fell off my bike 30 years ago going down hill and never got back on since. Would this be suitable for me as I lack confidence now. I would feel safe with both feet being able to reach floor when stationary so would be happy with a smaller framed/wheeled cycle I am 5'4" small framed...lol but would still love to do this ride...xbx
