This was our second time round, and again Johan the madly happy Belgiun was brilliant. We did a night tour this time, off road and a cracking tour of the region, and as ever, he filled it with suprises and laughter the whole way, then topped it off with breathtaking views and wow factors while shaking our bones loose cross country.
Last year we did a sunset tour, that was equally as amazing, he kept us happy with tales of the area, history and so much information about the land, the people and cultures, while hammering through the trees and helter skelter roads and some not so roads as sheer drops! He was a perfect guide and driver, keeping us calm and happy shouting "dont worry....be happy" with a huge smile.
If this is only part of what Johan and the team from Marco Polo do, then a whole day will fill you with stories for ages!
You get to see the real Spain and Benidorm and get to know it so much better.
Thanks again Johan, hope to see you again!

What an amazing day we had, it was great fun. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The only downside was that there wasn't any flowing water at the waterfalls. It had had to be diverted for some reason, but that was out of Marco Polo's control. The area was still very beautiful and didn't detract too much from our day. We would definitely recommend it.

First time we have done the full day off road jeep trip. Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend. Visited some lovely Spanish villages

Came to Benidorm in October 2024 for my friends Stag Do and booked this in advance. This tour of the Costa Blanca truely did't disapoint. The driver Mark made the journey truely memorable. The sights and sounds of the Costa Blanca are truely amazing and fantastic. So would recommend anyone go on this tour.

An excellent trip with Johnny as the driver. Good knowledge of the area and you get to see the areas around Benidorm and other local villages.
Fuentes del Algar was beautiful and the cafe there was reasonably priced.
A few miles of bumpy dirt track driving was great fun, though perhaps you should avoid this trip altogether if you suffer from a bad back.
Arrived at Castell de Guadalest, a stunning little town at the head of the valley with a spectacular view of the same.
My only gripe was the restaurant where the jeeps parked. Extremely slow service and food was not up to standards of others, meant that we had very little time to explore the village itself.
My tip would be to give sal y pimienta ( the restaurant) a miss and explore the village where there are plenty of better eateries.
Our day was curtailed due to inclement weather but we still managed a trip up to Sierra Cortina where the view of Benidorm is simply amazing.

What a fantastic tour! Johan our driver was brilliant! We loved going off road, it was so much fun. Stunning views from the mountains, pretty village and beautiful waterfalls. Thank you very much for a great day out Johan!

A brilliant value for money day out. The four Land rovers took a bashing on our visits to Guadalest & the Algar falls. Loads of laughter on the off road sections with the oldies probably outdoing the younger occupants. Trip ended with an amazing off road panorama vista stop across Benidorm / Albir / Altea. Big thanks to Martin our knowledgeable & safe driver, including the bit where he reversed over the Guadalest dam !

Absolutely fantastic full day jeep safari. Our driver Mark was brilliant and very informative. Sat in the back and although off road was very bumpy the seats were very comfortable. Would highly recommend this trip. Well worth the money

A fantastic way to see the other side of Benidorm and its surrounding area. We went up and we went down. We visited villages, waterfalls and mountain tops in our expertly driven Land Rover Defender. We were shaken and stirred but most of all we laughed as we didn't know being off road could be so much fun.
Thank you to our Belgian lady driver who got us home safe and and who kept saying sorry for the bumps!
We came back covered in dust but all said we had such great fun. Well done Marco Polo Expeditions. We cannot wait to try another trip.
